Recently I got an offer to play lead guitar in a cover band here in Hamburg. The song list for a first meeting included "fantasy". ( I witnessed the release of this and other songs by EWF in 1978 and I love them.) So I was quite lucky to discover this video to start my preparation. BUT😳: Until now I have never ever realized how challenging this song is and how many chords could be put into one song.. 😂! As the saying goes, the trick is to make difficult things sound easy. And this tune is difficult to play. But I´m hopeful, that your fantastic teaching will help me to be able to play this song fluently one day (without any sheet)...😎Maybe, you saved my life as a musician, man. Thank you for posting this. I have looked at a lot of tutorials for this song and in my opinion, this is the most accurate and sounds the way Al McKay plays it. Other tutorials do too much on the rhythm and embellish to make the guitar stand out but I think the guitar is meant to support and blend with the rest of the arrangement.

Hi Eric, your videos always show up when I want to learn songs and your tutorials are truly one of the bests out there. It took me months to learn “let’s stay together” but somehow I was able to manage to play following exactly what you taught on the video. My musician friend really liked the way I play the song. 😅 I learned so many songs from you. This is my next song I want to play but I’m still not this level yet. To this day, I still haven’t mastered the strumming pattern you were showing on the video, “Super Stitious” I practiced the song for many months but I can’t play like you do. It’s so difficult for me but one day, hopefully I can nail it. I just wanted to say a big big Thank you❤
