I bought this puzzle in pieces so I found this video very helpful, although as you realised later there is no need to force any piece, simply don't take out the 2 side pieces near the end.

i followed directions as you did it. worked perfectly. i did not have any trouble with the hard piece. plus mine fell apart as i opened the box. thank you for helping ,

That one piece you have to force in there at the end I had to take a planer and plane it down and then shaved the peg down to like 1/4 its size and then I finally got it to go in but it was still a little hard

I found with my puzzle that some pegs were shorter than others so I used the one that looked the shortest. But I also found another way to solve the puzzle without any cheats. I called that video: Box Puzzle Solution - Best. Check that one out.

Wth you shouldn't Force any of the part all pegs go facing in then they will all side back in. The last two are the key and 1. Other part you should do the push down an side in on the top an the just side the key in last

Fixed title should be "Ripping the box puzzle apart." Its not a solution if you didn't solve anything. Sure, I could "solve" that puzzle with a chainsaw.

The trick of the puzzle is you need to get it back together which is what I'm searching since it seems almost impossible

you do not force anything at all... if you have to force any part at in taking it apart or putting it back together, you aint doin it right...

How is this a puzzle if you take out 3 pieces and it falls apart? I bought it first and took out the 3 pieces with in a minute. I guess being an Engineer helps. The challenge is putting it together. I think that is the purpose.

Your solution is incorrect. The actual solution does not require any give or extra "give from side to side being careful to not force it." All pieces easily go in and out when done correctly. Folks that make it this far, just keep trying or keep searching for other videos.
