I just passed my 6 months sober from cocaine. Your videos helped me realize something NEEDED to change. Sobriety hasn’t been easy, even 6 months later I still think about cocaine every single day but being sober from cocaine is easier than struggling everyday being high.

One of my favourite bartenders was a coke addict. He was always hilarious and electric. Amazing show. Then one day I returned to the bar and he was friendly and polite but the show was gone. I asked a server what was up--he had a heart attack and received a warning from the doctor because of his cocaine use: continue using and die. He stopped. But also, so did the epic show. As a result of seeing his transformation from showman to typical gent, I totally get why folks in the public eye are tempted to do that shit. Best to resist if you can.

I still "miss" it sometimes but I'm glad that I was able to get my life back. Everything recovered and stebalized, except for my nose. I still have wounds in my nose from time to time wich I'll have to life with. But no running nose so all good. Thanks for asking. If someone is ever in doubt about kicking the habit.. When I went on my Bender it was just crazy. The ADHD thing you said same thing here untreated, but I remember stopping and there was no crazy types of withdrawal that was simply mental however I started to think and remember certain things yes like how much money I spent and then I literally just could not do this every day. I'm also a recovering opiate addict so I understand the principle and I have that addictive mindset already, even though the opiates I'm totally done with haven't even thought about that, when I had that cocaine member it was scary because yeah it made me feel good the first two lines and then the rest was just not fun and the nose pain and then the stuffiness which wasn't always too bad but still, not eating or having an appetite and forcing myself to eat, yes staying up all night even though I would eventually sleep I still could not live that way, it was just terrible and I knew I was damaging myself my heart everything I mean I know the mental aspect is hard but when you really think about living that way every day it's just miserable you don't even want to leave your house eventually. You just sit there and do it and go through however much I was doing a gram and then 2 days sometimes three, I guess that's not a crazy amount but still it's annoying to keep worrying about getting that early morning wake up boost. I just hate anxiety I need to be honest, that made my anxiety worse it made my high blood pressure get higher and at the same time, it also reminded me of opiate withdrawal because the sweating and the chills or any of those symptoms just triggered my PTSD for that

the hardest part is doing grieve to cocaine. even after 94 days clean everything is boring and I don't enjoy doing anything. I can't project myself having any enjoyement in the future while being sober. I keep grinding to get finance back on track. 24hrs at the time. but life is dull.

On God I don't even want to stop tbh just being honest I don't see myself surviving being sober so I'll just use until I die probably or maybe an arrest would show me some consequences but I doubt it probably just act up in prison cause I'm broken and can't help myself but self destruct my life every chance I'm given aside from work and bills are paid aside from that drugs rule my life for sure coke and opiates at least

I'd say out of all the drugs I've done...coke is probably the easiest on the withdrawals. Compared to opiates/benzo/amphetamine. That's probably why it's not taken as seriously. But... you're right sir, it's in the same exact boat and should be treated as such.

when you use everyday from the moment you wake up to the time you go to bed. when you stop you become useless at work. at anything. the only thing you want to do is eat and you fall a sleep everywhere. but its just the first 3-4 days its probably a joke compared to opiates withdrawal though

My problem is that I have some deep rooted self sabotage/hate for myself. Anxiety and undiagnosed ADD put me on this path from 15 and I can’t get out. It’s like a maze and I can’t get out. Like now. I KNOW I’m doing a urine test in 4 days, and what do I do? I buy coke and binge. Whyyyyyy. They are never gonna prescribe me ADD meds because I can’t stay sober for months.. Surrounded by people and yet so alone in my own misery.

I use to be prescribed Xanax and Vyvanse. I developed a pretty hard dependence on those, but I was able to just completely stop taking Vyvanse and taper off Xanax, as you may have a seizure if you just stop taking it completely. I was switched to Desoxyn (methamphetamine hcl tablet, 20mg) and modafinil, which strange enough I don't have really any dependence to the desoxyn as I only take it as needed, the withdrawal side-effects of amphetamines are mainly depression, but since I was switched to another type of amphetamine I didn't have that. The 20mg Desoxyn is actually way better for my metabolism than the Vyvanse oddly enough. The only side-effects I have from the Modafinil are jaw clenching, or popping the right jaw joint, not really an issue, just can be annoying at times lol
