This is a VS video I have been waiting a LONG time to see, and my god did it not disappoint! The ending quote really hit me on a level which made me think of just how different the current climate of Hollywood is, great idea adding that in the end Eric! Besides that, I practically agree on EVERY SINGLE one of your points to the highest degree, and in such a well crafted video YET AGAIN, It really does make me wonder how talented you are as a content creator! I'm so excited to see more in the future! You did an, honest to God, ASTONISHING job on this video! Great work Eric! This is some constructive criticism for your future videos. As much as we all enjoy these videos of you tearing apart a bad movie and comparing how a better one did the same aspects better. I think that a lot of people will agree that we would like to see more battles that are between two films of equal quality. Either two really good movies or two really bad ones. In that sense it will be more like a battle and not so one sided like most of these videos tend to be.

Well done, Eric, on this video! If you're interested, there's a movie called Annihilation which, to me, is what Ghostbuster 2016 could've been. Granted, it is horror based and their situation is far more frightening, but it made me think, from what I heard about Ghostbusters 2016, it being a better version to the 2016 movie.

Hey Eric (Is it alright if I call you that?), I have some suggestions for new Vs. videos you can do in the future: How To Train your Dragon 1 vs 2 vs 3. Suicide Squad (2016) vs The Suicide Squad (2021) with maybe if you want, Birds of Prey. Fellowship of the ring vs Two Towers vs Return of the King . Shrek 1 vs Shrek 2 vs Shrek 4. Also if you feel like it, you can do a Harry Potter vs video series. The first video could be between the Philosopher's Stone Vs Chamber of Secrets vs Prisoner of Azkaban. The Second video could be Goblet of Fire vs Order of the Phoenix vs Half-Blood Prince. The third video, The Deathly Hallows part 1 vs 2. And the final video will be the the winners of all 3 videos. These are just suggestions, but I would really like you to do at least the How to Train your Dragon and the Harry Potter videos. I also suggest that you can binge watch a show called the I.T. Crowd. It's really funny and It's not a very long show. That's it for now. I'll have more suggestions for your next video. (Edit) Also, have you noticed that the villain is kind of a rip off of the villain from Megamind, Titan? Both start out as weird and creepy losers with the same looking haircut, during the movie, they become powerful and get superpowers, during the climax, they look at the heroes with an angry look, both are stopped by getting hurt somewhere in the body, and both are funny, except Rowan is funny because of his pathetic "Motivation" whereas Titan's was a bit tragic.

I think a better comparison would have been Ghostbusters 2 because when it released it had some similar issues with its tone, execution of certain scenes, and sub-par jokes. Even some of the characterizations and the main antagonist of the movie were criticized. Mind you, I still think Ghostbusters 2 is a bit more enjoyable but I think it would have made for a better comparison and given a more interesting discussion with how both of them missed the mark, where their issues become prevalent, and even at times how both had their good qualities (yes, there are parts that I like about both movies) but failed to maintain. It could even have made for a more interesting dive into the similarities and how they diverged in their issues along with how they both could have improved.

What makes the comedy in the original so good is that they don’t dwell on it. A Joke happens, and they move on. Not staying on that joke for a solid minute. They’re smart quick gags that feel real to the universe of that movie and it’s characters. The Comedy in the Remake is like a bad SNL sketch. No thoughts, No compassion, No reason. 1984 does a great job at building atmosphere within its setting. New York is practically a character within itself. In 2016, New York is just a setting, just like how Ecto-1 is just a car and not a Character like the Original. Also, The Effects in 1984 are fantastic and hold up phenomenally today. Yeah some shots look a little wonky but it beats 2016. 2016’s issue with the effects isn’t that it’s bad, it’s that it’s poorly designed.

The only thing I liked about the movie was that in 3D showings it had effects that go out of the frame, and I really like that. But I'm also one of the few people that still love stereoscopic 3D. Also Chris Hemsworth was the best actor IMHO, but his character implies things about Janine that are pure BS. So, yeah, very VERY little going for that film and soooooooooooooooooo much against it... Thanks buddy. With regards to the dislike counter, I really HATE that they removed it. They only removed it to protect movie studios from the embarrassing mass backlash they usually get. No contest the original Ghostbusters will always be the best. Btw I saw Ghostbusters afterlife in the theater. It is excellent. That 2016 abomination doesn't even deserve to be mentioned.

Any thoughts in the latest Hawkeye series? It's actually Really Frigging Brilliant!!!!!!!!!! Really, Kate Bishop proved to be Really Great with some great depth and flaws to her, the trauma of Clint Barton comes back to him, the Tracksuit Mafia have proven to be Hilarious, Echo has shown to be a relatable and compelling foe, Swordsman has proven to be quite interesting, the mystery is interesting as well, and things are building up quite nicely. Really, if you think that the Hawkeye series would be took jokey, then, you possibly haven't even checked out the Highly Beloved Series by Fraction and Aja. Really, if you would say Anything about the Mafia, then you haven't known much about them.
