@@Elutai eh kinda've, quinn matured and def seen some shit in the scene that made her not as wanting to be stuck under the umbrella nor make music like she did during quarantine, glaive matured too, def in his own taste but it's def more pop and midwxst does shit on his own accord at times, he is a rapper, but it's apart of his skillset as an artist and not his character as one

@@Hueshu i know theyve matured but thats besides the point. its cool theyve matured! but theyve matured into a whole new sound leaving behind hyperpop almost completely, brakence and midwxst still carry it with them a little but glaive straight up hates hyperpop and osquinn doesnt wanna be associated with it which really sucks because they where big names in the scene :/ hyperpop pretty much died after 2021 which sucks because it had so much potential if the artists actually cared about it instead of using the new sound to make themselves known and leaving the scene completely after getting a bit of success :(

​@@Elutai I mean yeah, but it's also kinda the label of hyperpop, like you don't want your music to be tied down in just that sometimes, either sonically or just by association of yourself, it makes sense why alot of digicore/hyperpop artists don't enjoy being called such, because their music might be written off as weird and shit, collectively, yeah, it's sad to see hyperpop stagnate and begin to die off as it becomes more of an umbrella to shove people into for easier consumption amongst people not familar with a said artists music, but that's kinda how things go nowadays
