This beautiful song described my life at one point. I loved a guy and I thought he loved me too but he was with someone else. I stayed around until I couldn’t anymore because it was too painful. Years later we reconnected and we were both single so we decided to try. Flash forward two years and we are still so happy together and both better people than the first time we met. I am so thankful I wasn’t directly the reason his previous relationship failed because that would have been too much pressure. Sometimes you find love. Sometimes you leave because you need to love yourself and this isn’t who you want to be. Sometimes love finds you again anyway. ❤️

Hi. This happened to me too. He met me first but is in a relationship now and is getting married on May. We were so happy and everything felt right except for the fact that he is getting married already. It hurts.Even for him it hurts. But I guess, maybe, we are really not meant to be no matter how much we love each other.

Absolutely amazing voice. I married the man I was in love with. This song made me cry. So happy I made my decision to say something. I was the one who loved him, we were only friends. Finally when I told him how I felt, he thought about things and saw me in a different light. His head was with a girl from High School. But he knew they weren't right together.
