Good thing is K-3iii Monochrome has an exposure model that protects highlights which is important for mono

Just wish it had a hybrid viewer. When I have taken photos I am still gimping. However I have found more success with using the monochrome. Trying out different filters which is good for my learning curve and also film photography

Thank you for the video on this camera. I am pretty sure I would not get one, but I might consider a standard K-3 III. What I am interested in is how good are B&W photos on the standard III? I currently have a Pentax K-5II and I have been playing with the B&W settings on it.

Thank you for this review. Interesting camera, but I stay with my Fujifilm XH-2 having the opportunity to play with several B&W filmsimulations and having still color RAW. Maybe the Pentax has better resolution, but you know -there is no perfect camera 😎

You are FRENCH and you do not know B&W CINEMA - 400 BLOWS, Truffaut, Bresson, Godard - all Europe from the 1950's through the early 70's - the great Art is B&W Cinema. Incredible!!

If you could have only one Camera, which sensor would you choose: (C) for color sensor or (M) for monochrome sensor?

Contrary to your statement about color filters, they do not work like they do in B&W film on this camera. There is hardly any difference in pictures with or without a yellow, green, orange or red filter. I already made a complaint at Ricoh, without any response.

CCD is not nearly as blue biased as film, so red and yellow filter do not do as much

A red filter on my Q2M makes a huge difference. I now have a green filter on the Q2M, for foliage.

DSLR = DIGITAL SINGLE LENS REFLEX!!! Et avant le numérique SLR = Single Lens Reflex… et avec deux objectifs comme un Rolleiflex TLR = Twin Lens Reflex… Oui on dit aussi reflex… sérieux tu commentes sans savoir? Allez, je te laisse même la page Wikipedia en ANGLAIS reflex camera en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reflex_camera?wprov=sfti1 tu sais je peux me tromper, mais là c’est quand même ma profession et en grande partie je la pratique en Anglais. Ton commentaire c’est comme si tu dis qu’on ne dit pas appareil photo numérique on dit APN 😂😂😂 Avant de reprendre quelqu’un, informe toi pour être certain de ne pas dire des bêtises! Au passage cherche ce que veut dire “faux ami” en langue car si je me trompais en disant reflex ça serait une erreur et non un faux ami, par exemple Sensible en Français ne veut pas dire la même chose en Anglais qui veut dire avoir du sens… sa traduction est Sensitive, ça c’est un faux ami. Désolé, tu as tout faux sur une seule phrase. Bonne journée
