Erick Baker is as AWESOME performer. If you ever get a chance to see him perform live you will come away amazed at his passion, the way he milks everything from a song, and leaves you feeling like you've just seen something that no other live performer does. And on top of that he is a kind and caring person. He allowed my son to sing a song for our twin daughters 30th birthday at one of his concerts, and he really didn't have to do that. GO SEE HIM!!

This world pisses me off so much. I've known about Erick Baker for many years now. I really like his music and he still only has 5k Subscribers. He has more talent than all of mainstream musicians who cant even write their own songs or play an instrument. I write songs as well but I'm no where near as good as Erick Baker and I can't sing. But if he has been on here for 10+ years now and still only has 5k subscribers what is the point. The music industry no longer cares about talent or real music. It's really disgusting. As the years go on the talent pool gets lower and lower. Guys like this that actually deserve the spotlight don't even get a seat at the table.

Wow, wow, WOW! I recently discovered this song and instantly fell in love with it. Certain songs give me goosebumps and this is one of them. I decided to Google this song to find out more about the artist and came across this video. I can count on one hand the number of performances that have made me cry - this is one of them. Wow the pain I remember feeling back then hits me like a train.... Only a couple people know that this song was on repeat during the peak pain of my divorce almost a decade ago already.. I found it at at a time you would think would be the worst time to find this song, but it gave me hope that I could have this someday. I cried my ass off night after night back then wishing for a woman that was nothing like the one I had to divorce after 12 years and 2 kids. Im proud to say that pain is healed and I've been with the most supportive woman I've ever met in my life, one who doesn't stand in the way of my dreams or desires. Instead she's included in those dreams of mine, and includes me in hers. People, I can't stress this enough when I tell you that the feeling of imminent death that comes with a very serious relationship ending, will not last forever and will not define who you are. You HAVE to let the clock tick and let time heal. You may be reading this and thinking, "Yea bullsh*t dude.. you have no clue what I just lost or the memories we've had, and now im losing it all." I assure you 1000% I know what losing all of this feels like, including the sight of unbearable pain and desperation in my childrens faces when we told them the divorce news. I accidentally stumbled upon Stay Awhile on KZbin while searching for an old embarrassing 70's song with the same title by The Bells (I'm 60 years old). Since then I have grown very fond of Stay Awhile by Erick Baker and have become an instant fan of his music, Stay Awhile (Awesome), Unbroken Promise, Comfort You, Who I Want to Be, etc. Great sound, awesome talent.
