Muddy Waters had the bars, the beats, everything for me ☝🏼but on one thing I give to to Dare Iz A Darkside - the cover, just WOW! It was inspired by Funkadelic but it was still super duper dope!

Erick Sermon has always been so chill. I was a bouncer in the Hamptons back in the 90s. A club I worked at had a live hip hop night with Lil Kim, Keith Murray, and The Lost Boys. Sermon and Murray sat in VIP while waiting for the performance to start, and Erick was friendly, signed autographs, and even bought drinks for people. Every time I asked him if it was okay, he said yes. He even went and sat at the main bar and talked to people for a bit. I was impressed by how real and connected to people he was.

I am from New Jersey, grew up in the beginning of it all. Philly was across the bridge and a trip to NYC was a 20 min train ride. New Jersey was very competitive in rap and had to bring the lyrical energy. What made Redman so special was his comedy in rap and his funny adlibs. I can tell Eminem was inspired heavily in Redman.

Reggie is a goat. But when Das Efx was mentioned, it gave me goosebumps. I say that because Das Efx don't get their flowers AT ALL. They're one of THEEEEEEEE most influential rap groups that ever graced the mic. They changed the game and had hit u0on hit upon hit. When you got Brian Austin Green on an episode of BH 90210 doing the whole iggidy wiggidy thing......a WHITE BOY ON THE HOTTEST SHOW IN THE 90S doing the iggidy wiggidy flow, KRIS KROSS who was one of the hottest groups at the time doing iggidy wiggidy, then you KNOW how much of an impact they had in they had in the game yet they haven't gotten the flowers they deserve.
