Frusturated trying to get Bluetooth working in your window manager? I'll go over how to get Bluetooth set up with minimal frusturation. No, it's not as nearly bad as you're imagining it is. ericmurphy.xyz

Thanks, worked perfectly once I set up the bluetooth service to run on boot. Now my headphones auto-connect with no extra work.

Were you able to fix it?
@Torvating2 жыл бұрын
@@israelduranzaleta5147 actually … yes but I’m not using arch anymore … if I remember correctly I needed to install new drivers for my Bluetooth and update/upgrade them :) (I have the feeling dat my Bluetooth drivers just broken and I need to reinstall them )

If your device disconnects 2 seconds after pairing, my fix was to install the "pulseaudio-bluetooth" package, after that, reboot the system. You should re-pair your device. It may or may not fail the first time, if so, reconnect through a GUI or "bluetoothctl", after that it should work flawlessly from now on, hope this helps.

the agent of bluez connects after starting the x11/wayland session, if i have to input a password in my display manager, the keyboard won’t work for it, right?

Do you have any idea about how to show the battery status of the bluetooth device. ??? Can you help with that ? I have been trying to figure it out but I can't have anything to work on my way :(
@EricMurphyxyz2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure, but this might be a good place to start. wiki.archlinux.org/title/bluetooth_headset#Battery_level_reporting You might have to do some coding yourself to make everything work

Run "rfkill list all" to check if your bluetooth is blocked in any way, if it's soft-blocked, run "rfkill unblock [ID]" to unblock it, for example "rfkill unblock 0".
