Wendy is the absolute best! We expected the stereotypical prim and proper neighbor who hates the crazy family and only loves their “perfect little angels”. Instead, we get Wendy who understands life is crazy when you have kids and loves Bluey and Bingo and their parents very much. When Bandit was being a rag doll and giving his girls a hard time, she dropped everything to give those girls a hand (while teaching them a valuable lesson on what 10 years of pilates does for you) and even drives them to get the ice cream they really wanted. She understands Chilli needs 20 minutes and offers to help take care of everyone so she can have that 20 minutes. The way she assures Bluey about Mum not wanting children with the “that is not true, my love” is the sweetest thing ever! Wendy is the best! Best neighbor ever!

I'm not technically a mom myself, but I have helped raise my sister's kids for the past 15 years, so basically a Professional Auntie, and I 100% get the 'I just need 20 minutes where no one comes near me'. I love the kiddos, I really do, but they can be A Lot, especially when they were younger. My go-to when they were younger and I had to go somewhere and I didn't have the spoons/ability to take kids with me was telling them I was going to the tax office, and that it would be really boring and lots of waiting and standing in line, and that usually caused them to lose interest. Dishonest? Yes, but sometimes you just need to get some grocery shopping or other errands done and you know you won't be able to do so with a little kid tagging along.

Magic and a few other eps really hint that the Magic is actually real in Blueyverse... There are a lot of scenes where the parents go under magic without them actually seeing Bluey's motions.

I mean i totally understand and agree with chilli point in "Chest". As an asian kid myself, our education system shove too much unnecessary thing into our head but the heart/emotional intelligence is really low. I mean you literally throw away your creativity your imagination your emotion just for lots of useless knowledge (it's not entirely useless but how 95% people learn it, just memorize and do a lot of test)

as an asian myself, i know a lot of people who'd rather pursue arts (as an art student, it's something people tell me about) but don't have the choice to. and i understand why, but it makes me sad :( still though, a lot of them have arts as a hobby on the side and they do amazing!

It just occurred to me that the kids call Wendy by her name instead of "Judo's Mum." Yet their other neighbor Pat is called "Lucky's Dad." That's interesting.

Chili's dialogue at the end of Chest is so good, i love _SO_ much as well her approach of focusing first on the hearts. the entire episode is so fun and heartwarming ^u^ also it's because of episodes like Sheepdog that Wendy ascended into my top 3 at least of favorite characters. season 3 has some more episodes that also showcase the best of her ^u^ also also i completely understand Bluey's concern about the situation with her mom in that episode, for someone so young a concept like needing some alone time can be just really difficult to grasp

Omg you've made it to the start of Wendy's "redemption arc". There's a popular Bluey theory that spawned from episodes like Sheep Dog that Bandit and Chili are in an open relationship and swing for Wendy and Pat. I'm curious about what you think about such a weird theory for such a wholesome show.
