Hi Eric - I'm the guy you met at Hearne's on Friday afternoon. I knew that your name was familiar...I had subscribed to your channel 2-3 weeks ago. There is some really great content on here. I appreciate you sharing so much of your expertise and insights into guitar building. It makes a rookie like me gain confidence with each step. Today I had a breakthrough with my f-hole purfling bending techniques and jig that I'm using and I think I'm there now and can get the bindings glued up in the next week and keep moving on with the project. I'm tempted to get into your teaching material but I want to get the first one done before starting in on another project! All the best, Mike

I've been watching your channel for several weeks now. Love the Zebrawood! I've made an electric with it. I noticed, during the video while carving the neck, the stacked heel, that you later mentioned. I suppose one of the things you could also have considered (might have been interesting) is to put a bit of that maple veneer in between the stacks to kind of continue the theme you had under the fretboard. I wonder if how that may have looked on this. Otherwise, looking great!

My stock unsanded rose wood back developed a crack in half of length before start of building, its summer time in india ( 40 degree) , any remedy? Should I use this back or not ?

Black Limba also makes an excellent choice for a neck. I just recently finished an all black limba guitar that sounds great

Eric first off I never get sick of seeing this guitar coming together, I would like too see more of it. Also I really like that jig you made to cradle the neck while you carve it I’m going too really study this vid & steal your idea & make a jig like that. Awesome looking neck & Great too see you back on here.

Hey eric, great vid as always and enjoying the podcasts when in the workshop. Is it just the angle of the camera or does you heel and fretboard overhang the cutaway? If so then how are you going to finish that ?

Love your videos! Wondering if you have any tips for bending maple binding? I've never used hardwood binding before. Anything you wish someone had told you before you tried it for the first time?
