It is beyond words! I feel something different about your course. Many people pay a lot to learn radiology, I know there a so many best teachers here on youtube you are one of them. I do not have any things than saying thank you! I am really so grateful for all that I learned from your series of courses. I hope I will come up with other series courses on CT, U/s, MRI, and other radiology topics. Stay Safe!

Truly Amazing...One of the best X-Ray series on KZbin. Loved them...Last few cases were driving me crazy...couldn't solve them and don't think will ever be :D If you can make 2 more self-assessment videos since practice is a key point in improvement, it would be marvelous. Thanks again.

Umut GÖK Thanks! I know a lot of people in the health sciences don't take KZbin seriously, but there have been a few articles published in the medical literature in the past couple of years about its ability to convey useful and accurate information. Hopefully, more people will start to accept it as a viable alternative to other resources.

in case 10 doesn't the cardiac silhouette suggest a left atrial hypertrophy ?
@StrongMed9 жыл бұрын
overheatedpc I totally understand how one might reach that conclusion. In this case, what you are seeing as left atrial enlargement is probably dilation of the pulmonary vessels, but you would need an echo or chest CT to distinguish the possibilities of the patient only have pulm HTN from the patient having pulm HTN + LAE.

10:21 what are the strange tiny objects 3 items 1 inch in diameter ? they are where diaphragm meets lung...basically. one is really obscured.
@StrongMed2 жыл бұрын
They are connections for the patient's telemetry leads (i.e. cardiac monitor). They are external to the body. See: healthonecares.com/util/documents/2020/COVID-19/5-Lead-Telemetry-Placement-Tip-Sheet-a.pdf (FWIW, they are not in the proper location, but may have been moved deliberately so they don't overlie the lungs while the X-ray is taken)

Thank you. In case 10, would you call those Kerley B lines in the right lower field?
@StrongMed10 жыл бұрын
No, I don't think the patient has Kerley B lines. I have the benefit of having the original high-res image to review. It's possible that limitations of KZbin's compression algorithms and realtime playback are creating artifact.
