My at-the-time girlfriend (now my wife) bought me one of these billboards for Christmas several years ago. And because she's a whizz at graphic design, she made some custom inserts for me where she works. I thought that was kinda cool.

Beware of their rolling stock. I got 2 bad cars with bad couplers and they could of cared less. They acted like they were gold. I had to use twisty ties to keep them coupled then the truck wheels were sticking and nit turning. Took a huge effort to get a replacement. Just be advised.

They stick to the sign pretty well without the sticky part. They will slip into the upper frame a bit if you want to be able to swap them out 😁

My brother bought one of these last year and the billboards were pretty much all vintage railroad related and for some reason the new ones are not. Look for and older one if you can find it. IMHO the new one is not as good. On the bright side made some of my own overlays by printing on a light weight bond paper and they look good.

That sprechers sign is really cool to me. It is a great reminder that Menards is a Wisconsin company. The Piggly wiggly one kinda does that too but Piggly wiggly is in the south too.

I might get one for myself as it looks decent next to an HO scale train. I put the billboard itself next to a Bachmann HO scale set while I was at Menards. And by the way, the Bachmann sets at Menards are Menards exclusives. I wish Menards sold HO scale rolling stock too, either under their own name or Bachmann's

Somehow I knew the "Your Wife Is Hot" sticker was going to be used. On the other side I would put "This Space For Rent". Regardless, that's a really nice piece for the price.

I peeled and put them on a sheet of clear sheet of windows styrene, then cut them out. Much easier to swap out.

I would try to copy it with a color copier then put a plastic overlay on them and then you wouldn't have the sticker issue.

What a great addition to a train set. However, when I attempted to purchase this Billboard, I got all the way to check out and couldn't complete the purchase. Reason: Menards stated that they cannot sell to California because of California's laws. Any suggestions?

So i have a question. Im attempting to run two post war trains on side by side loops (these also have the ability to move in and out of eachother) what would be the best transformer/transformers for this since my z750 isnt big enough
