I'm so happy. My new Legacy C&O and UP H7s finally arrived at my local dealer. As a C&O and UP fan, I couldn't pass up on them. The new C&O F19 Pacific's are on the way and will be here very soon. I'm going to send my H7s and F19s to my friend in Florida, who will be painting and decorating the cab interiors since Lionel didn't bother doing that.

Eric, been a bit since I dropped a note. Good thing about the open house is that it forces you to get things organized and cleaned up as we all get lazy. On another point my 22 year old daughter watches some of your videos with me and prefers when you use "big" knives to unbox. Hope the open house and wedding planning going well. Merry Christmas 🧑‍🎄

those seaboard units are GORGEOUS...the clear shell is especially neat the rf&p h7 is really cool, especially being from virginia (i railfan the rf&p regularly) overall GREAT choices on everything ...such incredible stuff

Nickel Plate 777 reminds me of Transformers (1985 toy) Astrotrain. Nice mix of purplish blue with silver. And it sounds awesome!

Lionel's gimmick trains have always been cool. I'm digging the Glow in the dark stuff. My favorite gimmick cars growing up were the Girrafe "ducking" car, the mint gold bar cars, and the Erie hobo gondola.It's been years, but i love watching all the newer Lionel videos on youtube. That 777 in pretty unique.

Man that NPR Birk is awesome! I also love that Seaboard demonstrator set cause of how unique and unusual it is. I like it better for the fact that it actually existed in real life! That glow in the dark set would be a perfect one to run at an open house with the lights off, maybe for 2025 open house? Great video Eric!

Very nice, Eric. Those locomotives are just fine. I'm a big fan of the Slant-nose E-units. I think that they are even better looking than the PA's. Either way, each one a nice addition to the layout. It would be cool to come down and see the layout in person, but there is just too much going on, this time of year. Have a great Thanksgiving. An excellent video, as always.

As posted elsewhere, I’d like to see the H7 and the 2-8-8-2 Y3 side-by-side. Since I run American Flyer, I’m depending on you Lionel 3-railers to cough up the cash for that comparison since the H7 isn’t available in American Flyer …. BETTER YET… let’s have ALL of Lionel’s articulated locomotives side-by-side, with a non-articulate Northern as the “reference”!

I wanted to get the H7 in Rio Grande paint from Lionel this catalog but when you look closer the the details are all wrong. I understand they tried to appeal to Rio Grande guys like myself but unfortunately I just am either going to have to deal with the inaccuracies or just stick to diesels. A shame really. I would have loved to get a L class steamer
