I flew Air Canada yesterday from Toronto to Fort Lauderdale in premium economy and it was amazing! the check in was great, tsa was fair, and we actually flew the plane EARLIER than expected. I was also in their a330-300 which is a plane usually for long haul flights but boarding went by quickly.The food was the BEST airplane food I ever had which I ate all which is SUPER rare of me to do and the inflight entertainment selection was amazing and the seats were comfy, overall one of my best flying experiences! 10/10 but I still want to fly delta one day.

As a US based former flight attendant I would like to explain something that you may not be aware of. For international flights, pilots and flight attendants are usually on a different schedule and are at different hotels due to union contract hotel requirements. If your pilots showed up late, and with Mcdonald's, there are many factors. They may not have been taking their sweet precious time. They may have grabbed Mcdonald's and then got stuck in traffic. Or, they may have been on a minimum rest overnight of 12 hours, and the flight was delayed due to crew rest (since you were in Spain, the gates are operated by Swissport, and Swissport is not always aware of delays due to lack of communication). I know it is frustrating!! But now you know for the future it the pilots show up late, or vice versa. I love your content, bro!!

Friend, you need to compare apples to apples. You can't compare an 8 hour trans-Atlantic with a one hour domestic. The experiment is invalid from the start. Second, please inform us of the aircraft type. That's basic information for your audience and also helps us judge the comparison. Third, the stock footage you used wasn't of the aircraft type you actually flew on (you showed a Delta 757 but flew on an A350). Finally, ditch the section on reviews. You always tell us they are meaningless .... right before offering your own review. You can do this bro.

So, what you did was a) compare a departure from a airlines home country to a departure from a foreign country b) compared the Delata lounge to a Star Alliance Lounge and a top tier lounge. c) 8.5-hour flight to a 1-hour flight soooo basically you did not compare anything that was apple to apple but apple to orang/pear/banana.

I am in Canada, and even I have heard Delta has come a long way in the past few years. I would love to try a Delta flight to know first-hand. That said, I could not help noticing that the bad reviews shown for Delta were all flights between US-Canada. Maybe smaller planes with less amenities? Thanks, Eric, for your videos!

Not sure that was a fair comparison.. a long haul international vs a short domestic. I think the better comparison would have been an AC flight from Toronto to Atlanta and a Delta flight back from Atlanta to Toronto. You then get to properly test out each of the airlines hubs on the departure which would be a more relevant to their performance. Centurion was nice to see but that's not related to either airline.

In the US you don't have to show your passport for domestic flights, ofc you do still have to for international flights though. However TSA American security is pretty strict compared to other countries afaik! I also wanted to comment that I flew Delta 4 times in the summer of 2023 since I had a connection, and boy did those sun chips get old 😂

Flying from Barcelona... that explains much. I was there start of November and it was chaotic. Things just don't feel very organized there. Granted I was flying TAP to Lisbon and it was just the worst experience I've ever had, even eclipsing Ryanair which, frankly, has more to do with them being cheap than being terrible. What I will say is that whenever I fly back to Canada from Europe on Air Canada, the first meal is pretty solid (the "chicken wrap", on the other hand...). Too bad the food on the way over is so bad that I'll usually buy something or get something "to go" from the lounge to eat. re: Live TV. I remember when WestJet had that. Unfortunately the TV cut out once they were out of Canadian satellite range... which, considering how many of us go to the States, means it was effectively useless for over half the flight. And you're not wrong about United. It was terrible before merging with Continental and it's still terrible.

I love Delta, but I think that was a very unfair comparison. There is a huge difference for your back between an eight and a half hour flight internationally and a one hour domestic. Their is also a huge difference on the catering for international flights. Delta is my airline of choice, but I have flown Air Canada in all three classes over time and, I agree, their service overall is mediocre at best. The AC staff can be grumpy and give the impression they hate their job, while on Delta the crew are always pleasant and have a mission to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. And I'm a Canadian.

I think they consider it redundant since you have to show ID to get past security into the gate area anyway. I flew Air Canada once from Ireland to Toronto.Never again! I found the flight attendents rude and dismissive and this was on a business class trip! On the contrary, I have flown to the States several times with Delta in economy and found the service all round to be excellent.

Being an American that has flown on both Delta and Air Canada, I will agree that Delta does edge out Air Canada being the better carrier, but I can't help but admit that this video is a bit unfair. There is no way they should be compared with one being an international flight and the other being a domestic flight. They should be reviewed from a level playing field.

I haven't flown Delta yet but I personally like Air Canada. I do agree with you on the level playing field. Both should be reviewed on the same criteria. Also he is wrong about the weight limit on Air Canada for carry-on. There's no weight limit at all. As long as you can lift it unassisted into the overhead; you can bring it on with you.

This is hardly a fair comparison. Comparing a long-haul international flight in a narrow body for Air Canada to a shorter haul domestic wide body flight on Delta is not apples to apples. Feel like the comparisons should be on the same origin and destination pairs… or at LEAST a similar aircraft type and routing. Love the vids just not a great comparison imo
