You should have a list on the screen that you can tick off so people have more of an overview of what you need for your level to be sent. Example: *nice block design *clean *smooth gameplay *nice colors/matching colors *something unique Etc. Just an idea

I see what you mean, but you don’t necessarily need all of them. For example, wulzy’s levels have little to no block design, but still look amazing as the effects overpower the blocks anyway

Levels don't have to be specifically in 2.1 style to deserve a rating in my opinion, creators should have their freedom and be able to make 1.9 or early 2.0 style levels with minimal decorations if that's what they want. Art comes in different shapes and forms, an artist has to have freedom when it comes to making art. Just because nowadays you have all these options to make more good looking levels doesn't mean you have to necessarily use them. I just think the thought that all the levels which get a rating these days have to be some kind of masterpieces just because there are better looking levels out there is kinda toxic. Just my opinion.

I really love levels where it isn't so over the top that I can't sight read it at all as a not very good player. Currently working on deadlocked and it gets frustrated not being able to 1 att "easy" rated levels because of incredibly weird transitions and flashing lights that make my eyes bleed
