If you have the original battery you can take out the fuel gauge chip on the original battery and then spot welded on to the replacement battery this would solve that issue.

The main benefit is for businesses to demonstrate to customers that the replacement was done. If you’re doing this for your personal phone, the advantage is minimal. Apple strongly prefers to handle battery replacements themselves-and ultimately, they’d rather you upgrade to a new phone. = Apple Bad

It will probably rattle and could become lose over time or nothing and it might work fine

Agree. They make the phones to hard to change the battery and also the screen. Back in the old days you could change the battery from the back without even opening the phone. They should make the phones like a sandwich, screen - middleboard - battery and make it possibly to change screen and battery easier.
