despite all my anger at the messed up movie timelines and the mess of X-3, I will never stop loving the performances given by Ian/Michael and Patrick/James - those four people captured the essence of their characters and brought to life one of the most amazing and beloved relationships in comic book world. And your video is a perfect tribute to that never ending love and bond. Erik and Charles, no matter how far they've drifted, will always find their way back to each other.

After seeing this video, so many times how can you even hate magneto,he was just looking out for mutans, this showed he always loved charles, his friendship was what kept him sane, i also love how old erik/charles if you didn't get it from the first time watching the movies the chemistry they have together, i can't wait for the new xmen movie.

Jason babcock I know right! Stan Lee said he never saw Erik/Magneto as a villain, he said that Erik was just trying to protect mutantkind from racist, bigoted human beings, yes he was dangerous but he wanted the greater good for his people. He wanted to prevent a holocaust from happening to mutankind. And Erik always loved Charles, he never had a greater friend.

Okay, I've watched this a few times now and I've figured out why I like this particular Erik/Charles vid the best. Obviously song choice, editing, and just general skill are amazing. But one thing I like about this vid which lots of people neglect is all the Cherik scenes in the original films. I saw their chemistry, history, respect and intertwining lives there way before First Class and I'm so glad you integrate the two. I actually kinda prefer OldMan!Erik/Charles more in fandom stuff because they're the pair I fell in love with. You've tied together these two wonderful portrayals of these guys and made it so fluid (via the touching on the shoulder, chess etc.) and overall the effect is just great. I'd love to see you do something similar once DOFP is out on video as well. Just awesome. Cheers for sharing this vid.

Gutted. That's the only word I can think of to describe how I'm feeling after watching this. This was so emotional, so beautifully edited with the coloring and the voice overs and the clips you chose and the song, just EVERYTHING fit into place so well! Damnit...you actually managed to choke me up. These two are so bloody tragic that it just kills me sometimes...the clips you selected were perfect, the lyrics amazing, voice overs spot on and the whole damn thing put together was just too damn much for my emotions.
