He was the best player in the world for about 5 months there. One of the greatest individual playoff runs of all time.

I have watched hockey my whole life, 25+ years, and I am not exaggerating when I say that Erik Karlsson during this playoff run was the most dominant I've ever seen a player in the playoffs. He was incredible defensively, first to every puck in his own end, always making the right pass, leading the breakout himself if no one was available, and also incredible offensively when he would enter the zone. He was pinching at just the right moments, never jeopardizing the defensive end with his offensive plays. Skating circles around people, being a huge nuisance when teams were trying to enter his own end. Unreal performances.

This was probably the best playoff performance I have ever seen. Unreal

He was the best player on the planet for this playoff run. No joke. He was otherworldly and made a lot of people pay attention to the Sens. Absolutely amazing run.

Devils fan here. I LOVED this Ottawa team. Not only was Karlsson basically the best player in the world at the time, but the offense was deep, opportunistic and electrifying! Plus you got fan favorite Craig Andersson putting up great numbers. It's shame how it all fell apart shortly after :(

So funny that game was ours and where is kunis with the pens? he gave you the stanley cup final and you eject him from your team well its say a bunch lots about the pens. I just hope we take on the pens next years in playoff and Karlsson is Healthy. We will see who will win the Series Playoff vs the Pens Then. A walk in the park my ass! Took you 7 games like your others series to beat the sens and a couple of cheap shot here and there. Anyways we all know the pens will be jack shit when Crosby and Geno retires so yeah.
