Wow, he drew good even as a kid! It's cool that he's been drawing his own comic series basically all his life. His art style has changed too...

Big fan of Savage Dragon!!! :) Love the comic. Btw Dragon Magazine died already :p I guess the name is up for grabs now, idk who owns the rights to the title.

Respect for Erik Larsen and Savage Dragon. It occurred to me that in the 1980's when I was reading Uncanny X-Men, it was in the 200's. Savage Dragon is now at the point X-Men was for me back then, still done by Erik. Respect.

People who talk badly about savage dragon never honestly read savage dragon. They saw the leggy ladies, the big muscles and the image logo and judged the book by its cover.

Is there like actual comic book where Savage🐉🐲🀄Dragon doses a crossover with Superman!? Cuz if there isn't, they should totally do it, hands down!

I'm going to go ahead and make my character go head to head with Evil Ernie, Hack/ Salsh, and I will make a poster of him fighting Savage Dragon and Spawn, however I think I can pay for permission for Evil Ernie and Hack/ Slash since they're more or less only well known and are dug up from the underground by readers like me, as for Spawn and Savage Dragon, I doubt I could ever afford permission to ever feature Spawn or Savage Dragon in my own comic, so the comics I feature them in will be for my own personal entertainment and artwork will be posted for public viewing for anyone who cares to look at it and it will be merely fan art.

I think he also must've seen a jack kirby story called, no human can beat me, or some such title, maybe no human can defeat me. Only discovered this kirby story after the savage dragon origin issue. The character in the kirby story has many similarities to savage dragon as the emperor. Similar costume, similar build. May be just a coincidence. Look it up .decide for yourself

Maybe somewhere in a Multiverse, then original batman-esque Dragon exists.

I read Savage Dragon back in the day, and kudos to Erik Larsen for keeping it up to this day. I will say this about Image Comics: they got a lot better when they started hiring editors.

metal220 Niether can I man, which is why I hired an artist and co-creator. Believe me, it's worth it to get ur comic out there.

metal220 same story, but I believe that you can do it!!

NerdXZ97 001 Ya, all u need is $2,000 to start the project. $2,400 if u wanna do everything really good. Make ur 1st two issues on ur own honestly, the $4,000 you'll be dishing out is a pain, but u gotta show people what ur gana be doing with their money. What u can do is get funded and then well see where it takes u.
