I know this sounds like i am mgtow or whatever but doesn't the More recent anime have girls not able to cook or do any of those ... housewife type of things (cleaning, gardening etc). I mean nothing wrong with that but usually FMC has something to compensate for that like high intellect, olympic athleticism, famous artist, or something. Now it kinda seems like they are more like models or instagram famous types that are somehow attracted to a completely average dude (more like a loner)? And yes i know those type of anime are just author probably projecting how he wished things went when they were in HS but the bottom line i was getting at is FMC are kinda reaching those harem MC level in terms of competence/skill or whatever

I don't know about that, girls that can't do house wives stuff in harem animes been done too death since forever. You watch any harem anime and you're bound to find at least 1 chick who can't do that

@@justapassingbycommenterrem5642 yeah i know and i actually am glad they changed it up The problem is they haven't replaced it they just subtracted... i mean if you put aside erika personality and such, she is (i know i am going to get major hate for this) practicallya thot. I mean she is an instagram celebrity taking pics of herself all the time so vain as hell, on her phone all the time (although has no real friends which i think is BS but whatever), not really able to do much of anything even something like cooking instant noodles and spends money so frivolously that whoever said the rich dad was a millionaire is probably off by a billion (no way she would be able to live the lifestyle she has with millions). Obviously the anime and such does show she isn't a thot and is endearing in many ways and accept people who they are and so on (apparently she loves this guy who is poor, eats like a sumo wrestler and bookworm) but i dunno i think this is pushing it to the edge much like how we all are annoyed by harem MC being dense so much that it aggravates us even though it is fiction, same is true here i think. The FMC being so damned close to being one of those super vain thots irl but still having some humility or is shy in being looked at will probably confuse the crap out of people since it is way too much even for fiction

Girls learn to cook from their mothers. More and more mothers had to go to work, and spent less time cooking at home. After a few of generation of modern capitalism, less housewives to learn from. That' s it. My mother is too busy working, her cooking is not so good. My sister can' t cook at all, she prefer takeout. I cook just to save money. Not great at it.

Actually it is somewhat impressive she wants to and the gag being she isn't really that good at even the simpler things we take for granted

MAJOR Spoilers: Nagi has been shown to be jealous and concerned about Shion and Erika's brother several times in both the anime and the manga (even in future chapters), showing just how much he is attracted to her. Along with this, he was shown to be protective of her like how he punched that guy who badmouthed Erika in the M-1 Contest. He's dating Segawa-san now, but it's all a matter of time before he realizes who he loves more, especially now that Erika is actively looking for her brother.

@@Peppermint_twin MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS: well in one of the recent arcs she and Nagi go to one of her dad's resort and there they meet her older childhood friend Rihito. Basically, Nagi got all jealous again because Erika is close with someone he doesn't know, so ridiculous lol (even though he's dating Segawa-san, who by the way he doesn't contact at all during this time). Rihito ends up proposing to Erika and Nagi interferes, making Erika mad. She calls him a scumbag, and reminded him he already had Hiro before running away. He tries going after her but Rihito stops and punches him, and basically asks him why he did that. Nagi says something like he doesn't know why but he just knows he should be the one to stand by her side and no one else (he's doing this while smashing his fist against the wall until it cracks). Erika goes missing and *SURPRISE* Hiro ends up going to the resort because Nagi has not been responding to her messages, not knowing her bf has been emotionally cheating 🙃 She knows this and for the life of me I don't know why she won't break up w/ him because in the next scene she asks him not to look for Erika out in the typhoon (which btw was not rly nice of her as a friend, because we both know Erika would've done the opposite), but it showed Nagi was about to refuse her. Hiro beat him to it tho and said she "was kidding". Anyways, this arc ends with basically nothing being resolved and Erika believing Rihito was also joking about the proposal. no surprise there. in the most recent chapters, Sousuke (Erika's adopted brother and Nagi's biological brother) is finally revealed, although he only met w/ Sachi and he tells her he wants to destroy the Amano family, possibly because of a feud with the dad. Sachi tells E & N this, although Erika still wants to meet him because, and I quote, she loves him (although in what way, it wasn't specified). Again, this bothers stupid Nagi because that one line alone got him literally physically shaking.
