Not only that, but she never created her own songs... her 2018 song 'Cars' is a blatant copy of L’Trimm's 1988 song 'Cars That Go Boom' and her 2017 song 'Expensive' is a blatant copy of Ke$ha's 2010 song 'Blow.'

Why this is news I have no clue. Isn't it obvious that most, if not all performers of this type; lip sync? It's barely music to begin with. No real instruments, everything done on a computer and about as manufactured as it gets. I don't see why it's a surprise or why one wouldn't say "sure it's lip synced, it's all about choreographed dance moves, you can't sing & dance that hard unless you're a seriously trained singer/performer; and even they use backing tracks." You think Beyonce doesn't have a track going at the same time?

I remeber seing Erika doing vocal exercises with her voice coach in one of the earlier seasons when she first joined the cast and she was actually siging opera and hitting these very technical opetatic notes that would require formal training. Her pop dance tracks dont necessarily show of her range nor are they designed to. My guess is her shows are more about a certain aesthetic and the whole performance rather than the singing. If she does ever lip synch its probably because she has to dance and move a lot but that dosent mean she cant sing all. Denise is a strange one
