By age 4 I did not trust my mother. Somehow I did not believe her. This had nothing to do with my room. Shame? Wrong words...guilt? The mother ought to feel shame and guilt. Why always the child???

These child behaviors are too one-sided. It's ridiculous to believe that parents are always correct. No wonder psychology is screwed up!

Why is there no discussion of EMPATHY? The most important quality for parents to possess! Forget psycho social stages. Unless there is an environment filled with empathy, there will not be much, if any, growth into well-adjusted😮 psychosocialness.
