You showed your true integrity and character in this video and that is always a great couple of qualities to have. It’s so hard to golf with a hurt wrist. I’ve had my worst 3 rounds of the year back to back to back with a hurt wrist. It’s mentally demoralizing. So hard to hit the same shot twice when you are hurting. Feel for you Ben.

Erin Hills is no joke! Playing it with the fescue at full length is incredibly hard, you’re lucky to take more club than a 9-iron out of it. If you even find your ball! Keeping it in play out there is imperative. Kudos for you to show your game even when it’s not in top form.

Hey Ben, I compared your back swing to another video of yours and it looks like your club is steeper in this video. Im sure you know with a steeper back swing means it’ll be coming more inside on the downswing bringing the block fade into play. Bow the wrist in the back swing, or better yet, exaggerate the bowed wrist, bring the plane of the club down so it’s pointing more at the ground instead of the sky, this will bring a massive duck hook into play. No more block fade.

Erin Hills is a Beast. It has more victims than successors. And yes, you’re right, VA golf is bad. I’m a fellow Virginian. Interesting enough, around 1999 or 2000, Richmond VA was named the worst city for public golf. Out of I believe 312 US Cities. So yeah, a lot of private and semi-private courses in VA, not a lot of good public courses.
