Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing chat with ET about their upcoming holiday film, 'Santa Tell Me,' premiering Nov. 9 on Hallmark Channel. The former co-stars talk about reuniting on screen six years after Daniel left 'When Calls the Heart' and what it was like working together again. Erin also teases the upcoming 12th season of the Hallmark Channel series, explaining how it gets more 'juicy' between Elizabeth and Nathan.

WOW, what a great movie. Since watching it on Saturday, I have watched the recording at least once a day. I think Erin and Dan still have the magic between them. I was able to watch the movie without seeing the Elizabeth and Jack interaction, but the Olivia and Chris interaction. This is what makes these two actors so good. I love that Chris turned out to be Nick D.

This is PEAK for me because I have wanted them in a movie together ever since Dan was still on the show. It was literally my fave. For me their chemistry was and still is unmatched, so ofc it was devastating when he left and it took a minute to come to terms with that, but then came Mountie Nathan which I also loved her with and wanted her to choose which came to be in roundabout way as well and we got that this year too. It's become clear to me that when it comes to ppl I want Erin's characters to be with I have to wait years , loooool, but that's ok. It's a lesson in patience I guess. I say all that to say, I'm loving this. Can't wait for season 12!

They are the best couple. Everyone loves them together, but not everyone likes Nathan. I definitely am not a Nathan fan. I prefer Lucas and like the good qualities in him and not the bad things.

Jack had no competition so you can´t compare them. Lucas is a good man, but he is not for Elisabeth. They don´t want the same things in life. She chooses the man she doesn't have to change her life for to fit in to his.

@@josephinecallton4424 People got tired of the mountie and teacher story. They said it is a repeat of what was done before. I don't see anything new and interesting. I rather see the other characters. Now, that Lucas is govenor I rather see more of that also. They reduced his screen time already for 2 seasons and that upset many fans especially the way it was portrayed and written really was not appreciated. There was quite a bit of toxic elements in those seasons. Even if they are not what everyone agrees upon as ideal, there are people who still believe and see the chemistry and romance was still beautiful. Once they changed the writers and show runner they were reversing things to try to make things sound sensible, but instead it actually made the story more unlikeable to many who used to like Elizabeth and not just those who like Lucas. I heard from Elizabeth fans that they don't like her character anymore as she has fallen away from who she used to be. All they see is a soap drama and I agree. If they don't show more of Lucas, they will lose a lot more fans. As many of these other fans only watch the show because of him.

You are mistaken. CM had the same screen time as season 10. Its contractual. I saw a graph at the end of the season with all the main characters time and CM had almost identical time as in previous season. You have no reason to keep a chip on your shoulder over it.

My comments is based on fans who used to love the previous Elizabeth too. It's not just Chris McNally fans that don't like what is going on now.

Lissing has made a few movies for other channels, but Erin is faithful to Hallmark. The Santa movie is fun, though predictable. You just knew how it would work out.

Not another mountie, surely they could have paired her with a guy from a different profession 🤔. Oh well I can't watch the series anymore in the UK so I'll stick with the snippets updates👍. I hope the Christmas movie will show on Netflix 🤞🤞🤞.

They did pair her with Lucas Bouchard a business owner. They didn't want to keep that so they changed it back to the mountie and made many fans upset. I liked Lucas and felt he was a great substitute for Jack. Nathan is nothing like him. I am not interested in him at all.

@@ireneayeh9553 Yes. You aren't missing much. If you wanted to watch, then Season 6-9 shows Lucas Buchard and Nathan Grant. It shows how Elizabeth chose Lucas. I liked this story and would have been happy seeing them get married in season 10, but they got rid of the showrunner and redid the story to cancel out what they did with Lucas in seasons 8-9 and go back to a mountie and teacher story. Many are complaining about this and they lost viewers for making this bad move. Those who like this decision are very against what happened with Lucas in the previous seasons. Its sad as he only really has 2 seasons with Elizabeth. They made Lucas appear as a bad choice in season 10-11 and they changed Elizabeth's character which made her become like a immature, dishonest, desperate teenager. Season 10-11 was truly a downturn in the series and I found season 10 to be quite toxic. Lucas' character went through a lot of problems in season 11, so I was not happy with the storyline and there became too much focus on Elizabeth's new direction which people argue is not a true romance. Many are against each other as they never should have made another mountie relationship. I don't like anything about the character either and whatever they are using now to explain it doesn't make any sense. The writing also has gone downhill and repeating itself. As an author, I don't recommend people to watch. There are better writers out there. They even removed many of the previous writers with those who have no experience with the series and everyone newly hired just bombwatched through the series so they have no idea what it is about and changed the characters. It went from beautiful to become a soap drama.

I was so upset, these "Men" excuse me "boys" showed up at Olivia's work and caused unnecessary drama, and proceeded to treat her like a villain because she was dating.
