I’m thankful for the people like you that post these videos sharing that recovery is for real. I went through 12 doctors and 2 hospital teams and finally they started telling me to take antidepressants, go to therapy, and get used to pain. These doctors have no business saying these things! It was so hard, but even without medical care I’ve been able to get my life back. Don’t give up dystonia is 100 beatable don’t settle for less than 100% recovery!

How did You achieve that?

@@cinziavinciullo2023 my journey led me to becoming a radically different “person.” I used a lot of meditation, yoga, exercise, psychedelic therapy, etc in my case but we are all different. I recommend looking up Joe Dispenzas work

What type of dystonia did you have and how did you recover? A hand dystonia patient

@@panoskouvaris9732 generalized... it affected every part of my body. What worked for me was creative activities like dancing and playing music. I also benefited a ton from psychedelics, hypnosis, meditation etc. And of course I walk for at least an hour everyday and do my best to make it a mindfulness walk. Spent some time weightlifting too. Yoga was pretty helpful as well. Trauma therapy has definitely been one of the keys for me as well
