@loocheenah9 жыл бұрын
+JayPianoBird lots of people can play flight of the bumblebee but what's really amazing is how it perfectly fits in his solo, placed in the right time, and sounds very musical itself and in the context of gradual solo development

Shaun has the best melodic solos man...just sings the whole way through. Sleeper and Thing Of Gold are examples of that, but this is probably one of my favourite solos of his! Amazing...just beautiful phrases the whole way!

I could hear quotes of Supertramp’s Take The Long Way Home. And Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely. Love Shaun’s playing, it’s just such a party. Really feel lucky when I’ll go see Snarky and he’s on that show. The past one was a pop-up show in NYC in like 2012, and it was Shaun’s b-day. Needless to say, he went off!

The two people that disliked this probably think that Cory is better than Sean, when the fact of the matter is that they are completely different styles. PS. it ain't always about crazy runs, Sean makes it feel good without that in the beginning.

At 1:10, what song is that melody from? I'm pretty sure it's a popular song and I hear it often on radio (if I ever listen to them nowadays) and covers, but I can't remember what the song name, as usual. Shaun Martin, amazing as usual. I know many people worship Cory Henry, but as much as I like Cory, I tend to like Shaun's style more. They're both amazing though.
