The Bubble Lead power up is meant for those areas where you fall through the floors, the bubbles will go down the holes so you can locate them and easily jump over them. Also, congratulations!

Have 1-5 for myself and play them on a regular basis :-) I'm kinda sad that they didn't release MM6 in europe thou, that is the one thing I miss. As an older gamer, first system was an Atari 2600 when it first came out, ( man I'm old, haha ). Your uploads are very fun to watch. The Intellivision vid was interesting considering I never knew anyone who owned one. Other than Castlevania and Mega Man, all the NES vids you do have been totally new to me. Great Job Erin! I've played and beaten this game plenty of times but never knew u could go metal on Metalman and beat him in one hit. You know u can do the same on Woodman with a fully charged Heatman weapon. One of the all time classic games. Hope u video some of the other MegaMan NES games. They're more difficult though. 😉

Don't know if anyone's mentioned the menu trick, but if you rapidly hit the menu and return when the orbs fire the shots will pass harmlessly through you. Buys you a little bit of time if you do it correctly. Same with the drop through the spikes, if you call the menu and return it will reset your fall rate to zero and you'll have lots of time to adjust left to right as needed.

You Beat MegaMan 2 and you kick Dr. Wily's ass and it's all about confidence and patience. I knew you can do it and you did it Erin ☺️ and I'm a retro gamer as well and most of all great video Erin ☺️👍 and your a great inspiration to others and a good person.

There's a glitch with the boss at around 10:15. When you see them start to flash, they're about to shoot at you. When it happens, start spamming the start button, going from the menu, to the screen over and over again. The game wont register the shots, and they'll go through you. And if you just look up walkthroughs on YT, you'll see how you can get through that without having to die and farm for more Crash energy. Also, for Airman, it's best to stay on your Megabuster, and spam him with that, and once he gets close to you, hit Start, and then go to the Leaf Shield and finish him off. You should practice more at the game. You don't look bad for someone who is new to MM. Keep playing it, and it'll help you develop skills for all the other 8-bit MMs.

Transfiguration yeah, I used the slow mo feature on an aftermarket controller, and the "spamming the start button" trick is super effective.

Congrats! Every hardcore retro gamer needs to beat megaman 2 at least once imo you should beat it on difficult sometime it's really not that much harder plus I like the crash puzzle boss you can do it in 1 go there's a trick to it but good job!

A little hint about the tricky holes in the fake floor (in the purple stage): Use the Lead Bubbles, they travel along the floor when you shoot it, and you will see where it dips down into the fake floor :)

At 9:20 you can just use the Leaf Shield and just stand on the platforms as they move and it will kill everything that tries to touch you. Great run though Erin!
