Manoj Malhotra ji, I worked with the Ministry of Education for 2 years : 2005-2007. SIM cards were easily available and I used internet everyday. I stayed in the Asmara city centre in Hotel Nayala for almost 4 months. Then we moved to the newly constructed University Campus in Karen viz the second biggest city of Eritrea. It is a very peaceful life there, crime almost nil. Social life very peaceful. Just wish to comment that what you spoke about Mobile phone and Internet is not correct. Net speed was very very good even in 2005. Postal services there were outstanding. Airmail letters would arrive in New Delhi within 3 days.
