thanks a lot bud. yeah color grading with 10bit 4:2:2 in slog3 is amazing, a lot better than 8bit 8:2:0. yes i used ND Filter on the 16mm lens

Won’t break? lol. Banding and all that bad stuff still happens when editing in 16 bit. So yeah it’ll break if you know what you are doing in terms of true color theory.

Man, this is amazing. Wish it was in 4K though, it would do justice to this. Right now it looks really soft and washed out, KZbin compression on 1080p is terrible.

@@ermiaramez976 Did you film this in 4K? Some parts like the slow-mo look like it's 120p so I'm guessing that's in 1080p. What I do is, if I do shoot in 1080p I upscale it to 4K and set the VBR pass to 2 in Premiere and crank both the the max, not very efficient and increases the file size drastically, but oh man the final quality is crispy! That A7IV is brilliant, just been to caught up to shoot with mine lately, hopefully will be able to do so after wrapping up a few existing projects. Looking forwards to seeing more stuff from you buddy, keep killing it.

Personally I like the grade and feel watching on a desktop but even so I notice the image has a bit too little contrast. Maybe this was your creative choice and I also like it but the majority of people are watching on a Iphone will see even less contrast so for youtube I would have pushed it more to make it pop. Keep up the good work!

thanks bud 🙏🏻. yeah i shot this for “www.ramez.shop”, a clothing brand. it was shot on Slog3 so the image is so soft in the first place and then you’re able to color grade it the way you want it, and i did it with a very low contrast to emulate a film look.

Insane Editing and cutting on action i love it. I think you just need to turn your black levels down a bit i know your going for that super cinematic cream washed out look but trust me a bring that black level down a little bit and all your footage will pop.

Like just go into your curves and bring that bottem left point to the right but keep it at the bottem and do it very slightly. Try it real quick on some of this footage.

rolling shutter is not the best on A7IV, but in super35 mode its almost 70% better and getting close to the level of a7s iii and fx3, these two are the perfect ones in case of rolling shutter.

@@PascalPayantfilms the camera heats up a little bit after 1 hour of shooting 4K 60fps in 10bit 4:2:2 , but when you pull the screen away from back of the body, camera will cool down a lot more faster. btw, its not gonna stop recording even when its hot, but you gonna feel the heat. the bottom line is, overheating is not a problem if youre not recording 4K 60p in long takes ( more than 15minutes nonstop recording ) .
