@@alejandroperez5368 the highest speed in an F1 race is 372 kmh and that was done by Bottas in 2016. The fastest speed set in an f1 car is 397 kmh, and that was done by the RA106, a 2006 f1 car. The newer 2022 cars are slower in terms of top speed, hitting 322 kmh. Comparing that with some of the cars in this video, the 919 hybrid's top speed 359 kmh,the huracan performante has a top speed of 328 kmh, and the indycar is also faster clocking in at 379 kmh. These cars could give the 2022 f1 car a run for it's money in the straights, although the f1 still beats the majority of them in acceleration

To be honest, I just want more "everything" races in general, mostly because even goodwood doesn't do that in real life (they have separate classes in a big timed shootout, but they don't all go at once) and it's therefore interesting to see how all these different cars stack up against each other in a MOSTLY realistic sim setting with decent physics. Also I'm gonna suggest Akina and the Gunma Cycle Center (a bike park that also allows touge events to be organized at it) just because I'm a weeb and I'm proud.

Why everyone acting like Mazda 878b is that fast, the car was 14 seconds slower than front runners, weighted 150kg thanksto ballast for rivals and was even tunned down more to survive the race, its a miracle it wonned as all fast competidors DNF or had big issues.

Do it at the F1 track in Austin, Texas. It's the only track that both modern F1 and modern IndyCar have run on. The F1 lap record was 12% faster than the IndyCar lap record. Could make for an interesting comparison. By the way, if you take those lap records and extrapolate them to Laguna seca based on the Laguna Seca Indy Car lap record, the F1 car should set a lap record of around 108.4. So I'm guessing 107 from a standing start on lap 1 maybe a little optimistic.

Probably the stock additions of CSP (content shader patch) and SOL (weather effects) that get used if you manage the game with Content Manager instead of the games inbuilt front end. Assetto Corsa without Content Manager is a pretty bland looking game.

Rematch? Like as if if... there was a match? Sure. Inde Motorsports Ranch, WIlcox Arizona US. The have corners from all the major racetracks in one. It's a highly technical track, with their own LS Corkscrew, Monaco casino hairpin, and others. Security is tight, and there are sheltered seats with views, but no grandstands. Pirelli has done tire (tyre?) tests there. So have Indycar (the real one and even the IRL ones) and so have NASA, AZRA, SCCA, and other motorsports organizations. My suggestion is if you intend to say that a car is a modern F1 car, there are two simple things to update: 1. Use the real steering wheel. The "for display only" versoin is lame. 2. Have a named driver. If Max isn't available (and I can't imagine this would be something his sponsors would pay for) there are test drivers who could do a creditable job. It helps the realism when a Verstappen, Botas, Vettel, Perez, etc. passes the slower cars vs some unnamed Señor Rando. This was like watching a video game. If the wheel was real and the driver was a Name and if there were Names driving the Porsche, the UNLABELED-INDYCAR, the LMP car, etc, it would have been much much better. We're not stupid. Don't treat us like we are. My "Indycar" vs your "Modern F1 car" says so. Also Mazda. LOL!!

To put real life ‘results’ into perspective the unrestricted Porsche 919 Evo has a time of 1.41.7 at Spa Belgium. The RB18 (fastest F1 in ‘22) set a time of 1.43.6 at Spa. Not only would the F1 not be anywhere near lapping the 919, it would actually stand no chance.

RB18 did a 1.43.6 in Q3, 3 weeks ago 🤔 Evo is unrestricted, even an unrestricted slower 22 car would do under 1.40 easy, the fastest car in F1 history W11 2020 beat the EVO by half a second, that car would do insane times unrestricted, hell an almost 20 year old F04 would beat the EVO in slicks alone, never mind unrestricted 😅

You can do ifs and buts about what an unrestricted F1 car could do, but unfortunately we don’t have an unrestricted F1 car. We do however have an unrestricted 919. So the fact is the ‘22 F1 would be helpless against the 919 EVO.
