That was very special how you started The Champion, honoring to George, very nice. All your songs were absolutely beautiful tonight. So glad we can join in on utube. And, your ending, with great pictures, George and Glenn, and the others. Their first quartets are remembered lovingly.

Thanks so much for posting this! That intro for Champion of Love gave me chills, and I can never watch that version of We Shall See Jesus featuring the video with Glen Payne without tears. One day soon - We Shall See Jesus!!!!

Oh Wow, “We Shall See Jesus” Terrific! Love hearing Glenn sing that beautiful song. I have a picture from that very time you all sang that, Scot, Ernie, Roger, Glenn, George. Tremendous! Blessings to you now as you all carry on so well.

Absolutely 💯 loved the Cathedrals!! Went to many concerts of theirs!! I love this video, and listening to the songs they sung!! These concerts and songs were my life line duringan abusive marriage. Keep it up boys!! This was beautiful, I listen with tears on my cheeks and shivers down my spine. God bless you so much.

Glenn Payne and George Younce passed but legacy five is 2 Cathedrals young men, and other but they are really great also

@@DorisMahan-kn3ye lol oh I know. I suppose I should have been more specific: "Any chance for the surviving Cathedrals to reunite is always a welcome one". They also lost their last pianist Roger Bennett (who was also in Legacy Five until he passed)

I grew up watching the men's quartets on Sunday mornings before we left for Sunday school . Yes , i am sure i saw the Cathedrals sing . Maybe not quite as old as Ernie . Ha

Legacy Five: A group started by two Cathedral members when the latter retired in 1999. The two who started the group are Scott Fowler (last baritone/lead singer of the CQ, and Roger Bennett (now deceased), the pianist. So, Ernie and Scott were Cathedral members together for 9 years. Ernie joined them only about 11 months before Scott did. And Roger had been the pianist since about the early 80s.
