Thanks for sharing! I was on the team back in the 80's when we did the San Jose Earthquakes half-time show. Good times! Glad to see it still continuing today. It meant a lot to me to be part of that team back then. A lot of champions on those teams back then.

Rick Cable, that’s awesome!! I’m currently a blue 1 with the karate program. How long were you on the team for?
@CyberAbyss0074 жыл бұрын
@@buddy3635 - For about a year or so. In addition to working with the Reyes family it was also the time of Norlito Soriano (Arnis Master), Ed Parker (Kenpo), Chuck Norris, Dayton Pang, George Chung, Cynthia Rothrock and so many more. I love 80s martial arts. I was very lucky to study and compete with many top people and their disciples. Amazing times!!!

Rick Cable, that’s so cool!! That’s really amazing that you got to perform with those people. Who was your master when you did martial arts there? Mine are KJN Dave and KJN Donna

@@buddy3635 - Ken Barrett was my primary instructor then I worked with Tony Thompson in the Milpitas studio on the Junior team. We used to do Black Belt / Demo Team training runing up the hills at Alum Rock park. I was only 15 or 16 at the time and had to haunt Tony for months just to get an audition to get on the team. He finally gave in at a Saturday morning workout and gave me an improv audition which I passed and was then on the team after that. Tony got tired of me stalking him and the team to their workouts. I was relentless!!! I had better attendance than many on the team. I wore him down and that's not easy as Tony is a bad dude and Taekwondo world champion 1976/1977.
