This recital, Hilary literally played the most insane program ever. She played The Last Rose of Summer, Der Erlkönig, Ysaye Ballade, Paganini 24 AND Paganiniana. No one else could have the stamina to do that.

6:44 This might be the only time I have ever witnessed Hilary Hahn mess up in a performance. I didn't even notice it the first few times I listened to this piece as she recovered so quickly!

I didn't notice it until you pointed it out. She makes a little face like oops, but being the Supreme professional as you said recovers immediately. This woman is so incredible.

It's funny you say this cause while you are right, for me this is almost the greatest bit of the performance. Yes she misses the first couple of harmonics but I've never seen anyone play this piece where the arppegios don't give way to the harmonics. Normally, you hear a slight break in the arpeggio when the harmonic is played because it's just so crazy difficult but not here. She's not always my favourite to listen to but her technical ability is unbelievable.
