From the USA: I always find it interesting that when it comes to Hollywood/Bollywood, there is no competition. Bollywood actors must be able to act, dance, sing, and look great. If men aspire to be like them, they are seen as manly in every way. In the USA, dancing & singing makes you seem less manly a lot of the time. It's sad b/c they are missing out!

There were more than 30 prominent generals like shinde ,holkar ,gaikwad , bhosale ,jadhav ,shirke ,mahadik etc. And nearly all of them were maratha . All these generals expanded maratha empire under shahu . Among these generals bhosale of Nagpur was greatest military commander who expanded maratha empire more than anyone else. While bajirao used to go for expeditions but it was shinde and holkar who used to fight on his behalf and after bajirao later peshwa even stopped to going battlefield except for some battles of madhavrso even who never went to north india. After shahu's death in 1749 power shifted to these maratha generals and empire started to become Confederacy still mahadji shinde managed to keep empire united until he was alive , he even became power centre of maratha empire . It was always maratha empire and will be . Brahman especially North indian one claiming it is biggest irony.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this performance takes place after Bajirao basically outsmarts another general and convinces him to surrender without a fight. I appreciated that Bajirao was a powerful warrior, but he also understood that some battles can be won without bloodshed. His men loved him because he used his intelligence to prevent unnecessary loss of life.
