Silsila (1981) I have tried to provide you with a mix of various flavors. Did not take a chance to recommend older ones (though some classics too) in the apprehension that you may not relate to them. I've read that there are apparently hundreds of languages spoken in India but Hindi stitching them all together like you said. I'm hoping to learn it in the future and visit India. Well in the Indian Constitution there are 25 odd languages listed - regional languages so as to say - some of which have mention in the currencies, all have formal broadcasting stations (Radio and TV) and some such formal designations. Hindi is the link language across India with English a close second. When one mentions 'Bollywood' the language used is Hindi. So all the songs and dialogues are in Hindi. One also finds regional movie industries - Bengali, Tamil, Kashmiri, etc etc. None as cash rich and opulent as Bollywood though. You are welcome to India ... need not master Hindi for the visit, one can find accented English in the regions which people use to converse with tourists and visitors. No, you did not bore. After all you have taken interest in my country, how could that be boring. Whatever I know of my country, i could share the same with anyone who cares to? Cheers, lady!

I'm African (Ethiopian) ethnically but I like some of the bollywood music a lot, like this one for example. You can tell India is full of beautiful, ancient, diverse, and interesting history, culture and traditions. It's actually fascinating, it's like one of those countries that has such a detailed historical account and contribution to the history of humanity as a whole. Bollywood movies was actually very popular in the 60s-00s in a lot of African countries, my dad tells me so.
