@@debbiec6216 | That’s because they just want to give you pharmaceuticals to get you out of their office + on your way. I was diagnosed (thru upper endoscopy) with EoE (Eosinophilic Esophagitis). You can look it up. I was prescribed Prevacid (for GERD type symptoms… although I didn’t believe I had those symptoms, but they wanted to eliminate any further possible inflammation) + Flovent (corticosteroid inhaler that I was “to swallow” [as opposed to inhale] with the idea being that the corticosteroid would run down and coat my throat and stop inflammation of the esophagus). Those medications worked immediately. At the end of Jan ‘23 I go back for another upper endoscopy to see the results. Been on these medications a couple of years now - during Covid period.

Hi I really appreciate you making this video. I've always had acid reflux since I was a kid. I am now 28. I had on going heartburn everyday for almost a month from eating a lot of hot sauce. I got prescribed sulfracate. That helped relieve the heart burn and taking nexium. Then I got covid in February. I had chronic vomiting. And it made it a little hard for me to digest food. Ignored symptoms. (Huge regrets) I was hanging with some friends a couple weeks after testing negative and had alcohol drinks. Was feeling it the next day and I continue to ignore it. Then one day I have a heavy meal that I ate really fast and it felt like food was stuck in my throat. Long story short a couple weeks later I got an endoscopy done and they said I have LA Grade A reflux esophagitis. I also was diagnosed with barretts esophagus. It's been going on 3 weeks. I lost 13 pounds because It hurts to eat & I have really bad stomach and chest pains that I didn't have until the endoscopy. I thought I was getting a little better and I got too comfortable and I ate tuna kind of fast and now I have the feeling of something stuck in my throat and my throat is throbbing and it hurts. My anxiety has gotten much worst and it's breaking me apart. Your story gives me hope to heal my esophagus so I can eat normal again and take care of myself. I had to learn the hard way I guess. Thank you again.

I have had similar symptoms to everyone here. Regurgitating, heart palpitations, panic naturally. It seems we are not alone. My problem seemed to stem from being surrounded by smoke and having stress daily due to the environment I am in. Does anyone else feel this was brought on by cigarette smoke or stress? I should mention I also was eating many berries prior to this all happening, right before bed. I believe this may have caused the erosion in addition to the smoke and stress. My only good tip to everyone is that banana seems to alleviate some pain because it helps push down the food that gets stuck because of the pectin. I have incorporated some food enzymes and ( dexilant a ppi ) to also help, however the dexilant seems to have a strange good and bad effect like my ph balance is so off that having too much or too little acid will somehow cause food to not go down at all. For now I'm sticking too the bananas. I should mention I have had massive chest spasm that felt like my heart exploded when I lay on my back. This made me gasp for air when sleeping, I'm 37 years of age. I am about 20 to 30 lbs over weight 180ish at 5 7 height. Also please note, I have had to sleep on my left side at night now to avoid my sleep being interrupted from the spasm. This is extremely uncomfortable because naturally you just wanna toss and turn but knowing I will have a episode scares me so I just keep sleeping on my left side reluctantly. OK ty for whomever reads and replies.

I hope you have found an answer to your question since you posted it 9 months ago. If not, I use 2 different product which have sodium alginate (which I am pretty sure is what he is talking about). The most common one is Gaviscon Advance but it must be either from the UK or Canada. The US version doesn't have sodium alginate. The other product comes in a tube and is called Reflux Gourmet. I just received the Reflux Gourmet a few days ago and have been impressed how it coats the esophagus and theoretically creates a foam raft on the top of the stomach which doesn't allow stomach acids to splash into the esophagus. Both of these products are fairly expensive but I will gladly pay $28 for a relief of my pain for a month or so (the reflux gourmet has about 45-50 doses per tube). Sometimes the Gaviscon Advance tablets help and sometimes they don't. I have not tried the Gaviscon Advance liquid but I have heard it is more effective.

also try to find the root cause for the inflammation. its most liekly tied to food allergy or allergy to chemicals that they put in the food. the most common issues for most people are dairy and wheat. if you cut those out you have like a 70% chance of going back to normal and healing yourself.

I've now been on the weekly injection of DUPIXENT 300mg (which is the first FDA approved drug for EoE). Since being on it, I've had little to no episodes! The RX is expensive but the company that makes it has a fund to help pay for it. So far, I've paid zero for the meds.

Hi mate - thanks so much for your video . Your story sounds very much like mine - scope showed grade A inflammation- I was feeling a mild burn constantly for a couple months on and off most days . After the scope, it’s seemed to have aggravated it even more - I got of the nexium tabs as they gave zero relief. I have read so many contrarian views on this topic it’s so hard to follow one thing . I feel I am healing slowly each day but still feel a burn in my chest at times . When I asked the doc if the constant burn is the inflammation- he just said could be. This just gave me more anxiety as Dont know if I have reflux everyday or it’s just the inflammation. How are you going now? Eating normal again?
@ugniusr3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I eat almost normal again. Completely getting rid of all stress helped me the most. Also, huge doses of Vitamin D and fish oil gave me a big inital improvement in my condition. It turned out that the pain I was feeling was partly due to trapped gas inside the stomach. That's why I felt so much better after chewing on Refluxaid tablets every time. Or eating less raw food in general. Another part of my pain was purely psychosomatic. So again -- travelling, relaxing, spending time with friends helped. But every journey is slightly different. I will keep my fingers crossed that you find your way to feeling better soon, too!

I have had relief from doing Body Code sessions on myself. You can find a practitioner on line. We muscle test to find root cause, though there may be several layers. Sometimes it is trapped emotions, someone telling you to "shut up"! Or a stressful relationship. Other times it could be viruses left over from childhood vaxes, or even negative energy cords wrapped around your esophagus. It could be food allergies or even inherited . It is one of the physical characteristics of Native Americans.

Omeprazole didn’t work for me either but funny all the foods U eat I struggle with, even chamomile tea. It’s horrible I guess it’s different for everyone. I also am on dr aviv diet and I just use it as a guideline, it’s a good place to start for sure. But everything is a trial and error, sauerkraut works for me, I also use the organic green cabbage and salt only two ingredients.
@ugniusr3 жыл бұрын
True. It's different for everyone. Chamomile stopped working for me, too, after a while. Sauerkraut also worked well for me, when I started healing. It's awesome to make sauerkraut at home with just salt, like you said. However, after upper endoscopy, my doctor said -- no fresh veggies or fruit. Because they stay in the stomach area for too long. Only cooked stuff. That really helped me for a while, too.

I had an endoscopy done and a dialation to my esophagus done in June because I was having certain foods get stuck right where the esophagus and stomach meet. During the procedure my esophagus was torn and I had to spend 5 days in the hospital. Just recently it’s started acting up. Idk if it’s because of all the twisting and moving and bending my job entails or if it’s just still healing. Either way I’m going to try this out. My pain isn’t as bad as all of you but every now and then I feel this uncomfortable pain. Thanks for the advice!

I stopped eating meat a lot of dairy products sugar acid foods.... Ate a lot of soups not a vegan but almost to a point.... Everything went away.... I just hardly ate meat. .. everything went away.... I go back trying to eat meat.. It gets stuck in my throat again. I had to go to the ER and get it taken out. ... Before that I had no problems at all nothing no more acid reflux... All I did was change my eating habits... Stay away from processed foods... I didn't eat meat at all.. it works for me.

I used to get a lot of trapped gas in the stomach, too. And that gas was pushing the esophageal sphincter, and hurting me. That was after food. So what really helped me was stopping eating anything raw for 2 weeks. Only cooked fruit and veggies were allowed. White baguette, other simple foods. Basically, anything that empties my stomach asap. Also - Refluxaid pills really helped with the symptoms. As well as certain yoga/stretching poses.

Only H Pyroli bacteria can survive in stomach with PH 1-2. H Pyroli is the only things that consume sugar in your stomach and produce gas. So, don’t eat any form of sugar. Hv low carb diet. Kill H Pyroli with Black Current supplement or eat black current 20 min before your meal, every meal, for 2 weeks. Black current cause H Pyroli ‘s stinks to drop off fr your stomach lining. And then pass out together with ur meal. Try black current this way for 2 weeks. Then test if the H Pyroli are all gone. How to test? Eat some sugary food and see if your bloat. If you still have gas after eating sugary / sweet food , that mean there are still H Pyroli bacteria. If u don’t hv gas / bloat anymore after eating sugary food, that indicates your H Pyroli are all gone. If u still bloat after sugary food, continue taking black current supplement or black current 20 min before meal, until u get rid of them . Another supplement to kill H Pyroli is Nuva Pine, which is not easily available. Potato juice also detest H Pyroli.
