Thank you so much for this. This is the right speed, I prefer when it is a bit faster. I was very down today. I reached out to my brother who still thinks I stole the property my mum left to both of us. I lost the property when someone close to me scammed me. I cried when he texted me over and over that I was stupid and that karma is a b8tch etc. When I started my three hour daimoku this afternoon I was still crying and soon after I felt elevated. They say this practice makes the impossible happen and we can turn poison into medicine. I have tried for more than ten years to make my brother believe me, believe that I had nothing to do with the loss of the money, but to no avail. His words are too painful to bear, so I have blocked him, but I am chanting for his happiness and that of his children. I am also chanting that we all come out of lockdown and manage to keep our jobs :(

Would prefer to hear this with human breathing, not just a loop. Any way you chant this mantra is good, but I suggest you try supporting it with an underlying constant sound vibration. An underlying hum... It will magnify the power of the chanting if you do this. Do your best to stay focused on that vibration as best you can while you chant. Feel it resonating in your body, and then bring it up and let it settle in your heart and mind as you continue to chant. This is powerful seed sowing towards Buddhahood that in my experience more immediately helps to center and connect us with the energy of the Master life within. Also, chanting is a way to observe the minds activity. The act of chanting is a method for transforming the lower life energies that circulate in our minds and in turn in our lives. Exposed to the power generated within our lives through faith and practice, our life condition continues to evolve and impact these lower life energies, until eventually the karma from which they arose has been clarified. Bottom line is: stay in your discipline. All the best...

Yes, if it keeps you from being distracted like this situation out in my yard going on now, construction, electric saws, weed-whips, guys yelling, trucks... I can focus and just put this on medium volume to keep in rhythm. This is totally good to chant with, especially when I don't have a way to get away, no other shelter to go to on this hot windy day.
