Spiritual deviation (...yet my heart's inside you). " The spiritual deviation referring to having your relationship with someone become routine and possibly based around something like sex, rather than having a meaningful connection with them. (Everything with meaning is filtered out, and stopped from streaming.) "This is the disintegration of my being, love has either lost or proved it's meaning." If I had to take a stab at what the song it about, I'd say it's about co-dependency and becoming complacent in your relationship. The disintegration of your being referring to the person you once were becoming so entwined with the person you love that you begin to lose your sense of self.

I'll agree with you on all of that except I think 1:27 gave the song a fast pace for a short time and then went back to the normal tempo, it felt so moving because you have to pay attention, versus the entire song having one pace. Some of their other songs have that balance that gives the verses as chorus, bridge and hook as well a new meaning

10 years since this album and track has been out, this song is one of the rare songs that sits in my daily rotation ever since Augment released. I think this song has more of a spiritual meaning than a political or artistic one. It makes me think of ancient beings looking through our eyes trying to relate their time with ours.

Been hearing how good this album was first song i actually liked was hybrid. The rest were decent but all kinda sounded the same. Still good. Now this song is on a whole other level. This and hybrid so far are my favorite followed by frostbite.

I can't stop listening to these songs.. Also, is it just me or does anyone experience such incredible musical frustration at 2:55 when the singer, in my mind, should hit an even higher note. This is a good thing in music. Keeps things fresh and interesting. Anyways, couldn't say enough good things about this band.. keep an eye out for them.
