Personally I love these kind of challenges, to see how you go about doing them and what hurdles you come across! I'd love to see how far you could get only hunting for and using rare tools and perks with a weapon dropped from a merc camp. 😅 Regardless keep up the great videos and video ideas, I am here for it! 😄 Side note, I guess a endgoal could be trying to beat a t3 bounty or a mega, but I'm sure that would require a lot of prep and being very lucky with weapons/perks found!

Maybe if you had a final endgoal for each zone? Just as a example in tier 1 doing a escort contract or beating a stronghold, then tier 2 endgoal being the warlord or something similar and tier 3 a mega or a bounty contract.

I personally think that using the field upgrades are fine since you could use them in Cold War zombies the last round based game we had

I think you should be allowed to start with a 1911 style pistol. (No attachments or upgrades of course). But that would match the older games.

I could feel the pain when you saw the Lockwood 300. 😀As I understand it, Legendary weapons only spawn when there is less than 20 minutes left in the game, and I can confirm this to be true. When I hit the Mystery Box with less than 20 minutes left, I can easily get four Legendary weapons in a row. Perhaps change the challenge to allow you to use/change to any weapon you find in a lootbox, or dropped by a Harvesting Orb? But well done, you did the challenge like a pro. 👍

Great concept. I've done the "world drop only" runs, but never one spin off Mystery Box. I'd definitely do a couple Infested Strongholds and Orbs to try to get Tools and upgrades. But with the Lockwood 300, I don't think there's much that can save you. With the right build, it can be pretty decent against T1/T2 bosses, but will ALWAYS suck against hoards. What bad luck.

This was a lot of fun to watch, sorry you got that shotgun your first time out. I think using your ability is okay, it's part of the game and if it allows you in some small way to get to tier 3 a couple of minutes faster then so be it. In terms of success, as long as you get out alive I'd consider that a win.

Suggested rule additions: - No stores - No pop machines - No Easter Egg Colas - No Easter Egg loot (Such as Knight, Bishop, Rook, Pawn, King loot) - no Deadbolt turrets - no scorestreaks - no warp doors - Aether Rifts are allowed - If you do a contract it should be the closest one available to where you are located. - subsequent contracts should also be the next closest available contract. - an Ideal run would also include a Completed T3 contract - Merc camps, strongholds, convoys are allowed - Infected nests and strongholds are also allowed Aether orbs are allowed - bonus points for killing a warlord

This seems like a really cool idea. I’m new to zombies so idk anything before this mode really. But I haven’t seen anyone make a video tryna incorporate this challenge into this mode so that’s really cool ur doing it

I was honestly planing on doing something similar but I didn't even think about the random box, just hands and lethals till I find a gun in a duffle, armory box, or hidden stash. Suggestions: hit hidden cashes that are near by you as long as you're not going out of your way. Same with the perk easter egg. If you spawn by one or it's near the normal course of you going to a contract or stronghold that's fine. Hit more infested strongholds. You can use non offensive field upgrades. So no Tesla, no mine but shroud, healing, frenzy are fine.

1 Box is fun. The only issue I have is every car drives like 2km abouts before running out of fuel. Then I have to run around on foot and feel like I burned a lot of time walking.

Even if the lockwood is not ideal, the rest of the rng really screwed your chances. All a part of the fun of the challenge to me. I think completing one T3 contract is a good end goal

I def think u should use what u get in game cause that’s what u do in round based. U could always just do a bounty in each zone that way it could be like unlocking the next difficulty kinda thing n let’s u find better upgrades for ur gun/perks. Another way to make this more difficult for ppl could be doing a regain with a box gun lol

Based on this video I would think completing a teir 3 bounty would be a success/win! I don’t think just killing any mega bomb should count because they are a lot easier than a bounty mega bomb.

Best way to start this is to setup a tombstone with enough money to hit the box once. Load into the match, get tombstone, hit box. Easy.

Seems like they're terrified of making shotguns the overwhelming meta like in CW, so they made them all absolutely useless in t3 besides the 680, but even that will eventually fall in line with how bad the others are.

The shotgun ammo seems to be bugged currently.

@SkyForgeVideos definitely bugged at least the slugs for the 680. If you pack it with a barrel that doesn't give more ammo in the tube, it'll shoot fewer slugs than if you had the barrel that lets you hold 10 slug rounds.

@@colbygaming1490 I think someone said the slugs were only putting out the DMG of a single pellet of the normal shot. It takes way too many slugs to kill anything. The Dragon's breath rounds are ok, but still seem heavily underpowered. Someone needs to do some investigating over there and fix them. Also the MX Guardian is bugged because the trigger options are not available in the gunsmith making it impossible to change the ammo. It takes about 90+ shells to kill a single disciple with a T2 packed guardian. And that's a normal disciple. Not a bounty, which would take significantly more.

@@SkyForgeVideos I've never done tests, but that does seem to be the case. But overall, the shotguns class as a whole, besides the 680, needs a major buff. They shouldn't be almost completely useless in t3 with the max 32× damage increase.
