If I am defending you, and I run up to you to exactly where you are dribbling, stand still for a micro-second, and then fall down as you dribble into me, that is not a charge. Hey, maybe I am wrong, maybe the league has become a lot softer now, but without a doubt a full third of those where just flops.

@@Christoff070 If your feet are set before the opposing player comes to you then that's having an established position because you stand there before the attacker does, so that means if offensive player continues his dribble through that way he has to go right through you. However you can't do that therefore that leads to a charge don't quote me on that it is what it is.

What really impresses me most is that he has not drawn a reputation of being a flopper. Of course some of these plays are embellished but he does it so little that he will get benefit of the doubt. Charge taking is one of the most underrated defensive moves there is and is one of a kind. Not only do you get the stop, you get the ball and your opponent picks up a foul that carries much more pain than a defensive foul.
