This shows how much love was put into making the WoW universe, looking back it still baffels me what mental gymnastics it took to decide to "destroy" the old world with Cataclysm.

I get what they were trying to do as criticism leveled at the time was that the old world was becoming irrelevant. The dev team then basically decided to throw a nuke on it to reinvent the world, like a kid playing Godzilla basically. However, the moment Cataclysm was over, we were basically left with a trash heap.

I just found you and this is by far my favorite ASMR video ever done lol. it's like jumping through a portal to 2006 and being 14 again. there are some slang terms in there that I don't remember ever getting used. like AC or AFKFAF. thank you so much for this. makes me want to resub and play some wow but I don't have anyone to play classic or turtle with 😔 also I love the LFG comics littered throughout the book haha. so nostalgic man

Man I wish I would of read this before starting in late TBC. I remember going into first dungeon not really understanding the holy trinity thing and aggro. The game felt so massive and new; I had no clue what my abilities really did or what I was doing. Didnt think it was going to take me down a road where I met a lot of memorable people. I could never figure out if it made my life better or worse. But I'm still here alive and well which I cant say for some of my friends who are no longer with us. It may have saved my life.

Oh I tried! I used one of those ozone cleaner machines first and then they have been outside on the balcony for over a month, they still smelled horrible so I unfortunately had to throw them away 🥺
