Dori and Gura are twin archers serving under Oboro. There are several ways to tell them apart: Dori has purple eyes while Gura's are blue, and the bottom part of Dori's clothes is blue while with Gura they are red. Their gender is difficult to ascertain, even by other characters. In the game, Oboro and the twins themselves state that they are male. in the DVD Q&A segment , Hakuoro directly addresses the question of their gender, openly stating that the twins are male

Actually, they address it in one of the extra features on the US release of the anime. Eleluu asks Hakuoro if they're boys or girls, and they spend five minutes discussing it before they get distracted by how you tell them apart. The question never gets answered.

ok i done some searching on the web and they are indeed boys in the game and they address this in some special answer and question episode in some dvd set or w/e Still thou that was only released after so many people bitched about the difference. i beleive they didnt want to throw to much side storys into the anime so they left their past be. if you look at 0:30 thats quite a girlish face. this leads me to beleive that their trying to make us assume there girls.

i think it's never officially stated. i know it's not stated in the show, but it's heavily hinted that they're males in the h-game the anime's based on. things like hakuoro asking them their gender and them responding "want to come find out~?" and more.
