As a GGB enthusiast, the way he answered some questions raised eyebrows. Take for instance, Prayer is 90% listening? I don't agree. Imagine Jesus praying to the point of sweating blood (Luke 22:44). Prayer must be persistent (Luke 18:1 - 8). I think reducing prayer to listening is a dangerous ideology. The devil walks about (prowling) like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. So we must be vigilant and sober to pray without ceasing. 1 Peter 1:8, Colossians 4:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Also, God created the spirit of male & female in man. But the woman was taken from man hence "Wo Man". The man is the head of the house just like Christ is the head of the church. This is a mystery. It doesn't have to be culturally correct. Godly principles are what they are. (Genesis 1:27 & 2:21 - 23. Ephesians 5:22 - 29) I support this channel and thanks for inviting a guest. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. ❤ I would personally like to see you invite Chad of Good Fight Ministries.

This episode is a testament of why it's so important for us to have a personal relationship with God and KNOW THE WORD FOR OURSELVES. There were multiple things said that don't necessarily align with the Word. Based on other comments, others have caught this as well. I sincerely pray for the babies in Christ and for those who aren't as knowledgeable because even the Bible says that we perish for lack of knowledge. We can't just take what people say and run with it just because they "preach". We have to test the spirits. We do this by lining everything up with the Word of God. Everything that sounds good isn't good; read the Bible and pray without ceasing.

Hey Angela and Arielle, really love seeing your passion for Christ and enjoyed the interview with Erwin. He is an awesome guest and man who loves the Lord. I have to say I disagreed with some of his interpretations about spiritual warfare and how to fight back against demonic attacks through the Spirit of Christ and using the Name of Jesus . Around 38 min mark Erwin mentions that people get hung up on fighting spiritually with superstitious acts and rebuking the devil. That if a person is still struggling with sin, then those rebukes and resistance are not working. I totally disagree. The disciples/apostles and Paul were still human and struggling with sin, yet In the name of Jesus they still cast out demons and healed the sick. It is not on our own power or authority that we fight back, but through the power of the one who loves us and laid down his life for us. For if God is for us, who can be against us!! The apostles sanctification was not complete, nor were they perfect, yet through the power of the name of Jesus and through the authority that Jesus has given us, because we believe in Him, our sins are forgiven, our names are written in the book of life, and we have become children in His Kingdom, and we are now purchased and covered by the blood of the Lamb, that now we can boldly resist the devil, principalities, powers in dark places and demonic spirits. The Bible clearly states that our fight in this world is not against flesh and blood, but with demonic spirits, principalities, and powers in dark places. It is not by our own power that we resist, but through the Name of Jesus and the authority that comes with the Holy Spirit now living inside of us. If you feel spiritually attacked, then you should 100% resist and fight back in the name of Jesus!!! That is not being superstitious, but being bold in the Name of Jesus! Understand your authority or power to fight spiritually is not your own, but only comes from having God on our side. For we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus!!!. Romans 8:31-39 Keep up the great work, God is using you in a powerful way! Be strong and courageous in the name of Jesus. 😇😇

I would encourage you to not focus on teachings of any church or denomination, but read the bible for yourself and life by it's teachings only. You will realise that a lot of things you mentioned you wouldn't even know of if you would only be influenced by the bible and not by traditions of flawed humans. I also respect your faith, but I hope it will be grounded more in the bible than in any church. Because in many churches, the catholic church included, there are many things that are no where to be found in the bible. So whatever you have been taught to do, try to see what the bible is actually saying about it. Did the apostles teach it? Did they do it? What does Jesus say about it? Do your own bible research and don't listen to people. Because you will find everyone having a different opinion on what's right.

@@estefanyalesa8283The first Christians were called Christians, not Catholics -- this is bad Biblical history and bad reality history to think Catholics were the first to begin God's church through Jesus Christ -- as all Catholics did have the Biblical Scriptures when the Roman Catholic Church formed later in history. As Scripture says, "The disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." -- (Acts 11:26). When the Roman Catholic Church developed later in history is open to debate, as other churches later came also called Methodist, Presbyterian, etc. The Catholic Christian Church does not obey the Word of God perfectly, as their leaders and/or priests do not marry in disobedience to God's Word (1 Timothy 3:4-12). I used to be Catholic Christian, but now I am only Christian, as I desire to obey everything the Bible says for New Covenant living (Matthew 28:20; Philippians 2:12-15), as Christian unity will continue to improve over time, in which Scripture says, "...so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith..." (Ephesians 4:12-13). Also, no where in Scripture are we told to love "one saint" but to love all the living saints, as Scripture says, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." -- (1 Peter 4:8).

There's no spiritual hierarchy like he mentioned where he's on the bottom of the enemy's attention list. No, the enemy roams around like a lion seeking whom he can devour. SO know this and stay prayed up 24/7 in the name of Jesus because the enemy is defeated and we are Victorious. Like Angela told him " I don't know, my levels pretty strong man Lol !!"

@@Elle_Hodges Too many things to list, honestly. My advice to people is to read the Bible for yourself. Whenever someone speaks about God and His character, they should be backing it all up with His Word. We can't be lazy in our spiritual walk that we rely solely on others to carry us. Just because a person proclaims to know Jesus doesn't mean they're sent by Jesus, and sometimes, people just misinterpret/misquote things. Either way, if you're following someone who is either intentionally or unintentionally going the wrong way, then you're going the wrong way also.

I know this is an old episode but I just now watched it and I am so glad I didn’t let the comment section discourage me or form an opinion before I listened because I loved hearing the way he explained things in a way I never thought of. I think we need to be a lot more open to hearing peoples personal opinions of things because at the end of the day none of us are going to get everything 100% right, we are human and we are all limited to human understanding. A lot of his views about things set me free and helped me shed shame which in turn helps us become better people. We can’t expect to become better when we are constantly living in shame and letting others condemn us all the time. Think about it, if we already think we are condemned then why would we change? I love this episode and I’m going to listen to some more of pastor Erwin because I think he made some really great points and really got me thinking about things. He has a unique way of articulating ideas and it makes sense as to why people who are stuck in their ways aren’t open to it.

I really love what you girls are doing, but I’m hoping this episode gives you greater discernment about who you follow as spiritual guides/leaders. The Bible teaches us that we can absolutely lose our salvation. (I believe you already know that based on past episodes). There is a lot more that he says on this episode that is not Biblical (some of which has been covered in other comments). The best thing anyone can do to have a deeper understanding of God is to read the Bible for themselves, and ask the Holy Spirit to provide discernment for what is being read. I’ve never commented on any of these videos before, because nothing has disturbed my spirit more than watching this episode. It all “sounds nice,” but where is the Scripture to back up what he is saying?

The good thing is it always forces you to remain focused and completely trust on Jesus Christ alone. What he said about Hell and people being able to get out once they are there didn’t seem to be supported by Scripture from what I see.

1:00:18 - This is a great philosophical discussion, but not all of it is Biblical. For Erwin not to know the answer to the question about who we will be married to in Heaven is surprising, since Jesus answers that exact question in Matthew 22:24-32 “Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for him. 25 Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother. 26 The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. 27 Finally, the woman died. 28 Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?” 29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31 But about the resurrection of the dead-have you not read what God said to you, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’[b]? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”

And if he really is a believer and follower of Jesus, at some point God will show him the truth about specific subjects. I am really deep in my faith and what he said that I don’t agree with won’t affect my understanding of God. But let’s focus on the positive. He said so many things that shows the goodness of God and how much God loves us. I think that we should focus on those sayings. Example: “You were a dream of God before you ever took a breath” that was so beautiful

yea, but what’s really dangerous about Erwin is that these false teaching that are clearly not biblical can affect someone’s understanding that is new in their faith walk. I feel like this is very dangerous. Biblical teachings are all that matters, I don’t care if some one is trying to make up their own perspective on it. If it doesn’t come from the bible it should not be taught.

This was really great to watch. Thank you for having Pastor Erwin on the Podcast. To hear about God in such an articulated way is so good for the soul. Keep up the good fight and know that God loves you both.

Ari, please keep your gift of discernment. I think I can see the moments you're questioning what is being said to you. That is good. The Holy Spirit is protecting you by giving you discernment.

this is my favorite podcast, hands-down. I honestly had to stop it 15 min in bc the girls kept repeating over and over, yeah, yeah, right! It was super distracting. Sorry, don't mean to be disrespectful, but I just couldn't keep going. Food for thought when you have other guests on. BTW, I know many who watch your podcast, they had the same reaction. Love y'all, keep up the good work

22:06 Although his answer is truly Right Ari, we must consider First from Where the praying Is coming from ( Who ) , the level of Renounce the person who Is praying Has paid to be known By the spiritual World, ( Mostly through fasting );... therefore most healing miracles Happen through A Pastor or someone who which, was conceived The Gift of healing and Authority in Christ, asking to God through fasting by Renouncing of own will , intimate Relationship with Christ , someone that Whose is living in completely obedience and Renounce from the things of the World... these are things that could be a pattern for ONE person do not receive a Healing !
