+PinkAngel2623 Correct, the same principle at work with the song yankee doodle, it was originally a british tune brit soldiers would sang making fun of americans during the revolutionary war(a doodle was slang for fool), but when America started winning the war, American soldiers started singing it back to them as a taunt(as in who's the doodle now) turning it into a patriotic song in the process

So just how expensive are you? I'm not assuming you're a slut. Man want to pillow,women have material concerns. Such things have always been the case, but best done within a stable relationship. You don't sound much committed to that. You're young and despite our masculine efforts I've yet to know of a worn out pussy. Unless one is slung down like a mule. Such guys should confine themselves to cheap boring pornography. The really low class kind in a cheap dirty rat hole. With hairy unwashed foreigners........ewww I almost made myself vomit.r Anyway in theory if you were inclined like a doper, an alcoholic or homeless and needed to rent one of those cheap rat holes. I ask because in writing a manuscript. I can't actually say "book" since they are digital downloads these days the literature will be informative, nasty to the point of a black box warning,funny, embarrassing and hopefully entertaining. I have you pegged from what I can see at $75 which from my research is a good price for a quality throw, you know a little @$$. That doesn't apply if you're a crack 'ho, or a mether. I hear such couplings are disappointing have a high potential for disease and just plain pitiful. So how close am I?

That type of old love that we cant to seem to understand because we are from this generation but looking back, these types of songs were so needed and so real, still to this day but this is just a masterpiece of an era, very well represented

Most of yall are missing the point of the song.... TYRONE is not her man he is the FRIEND of her man.... Her boyfriend is the loser and she is telling him ( her man) she tired of his mess and she wants him to call his friend TYRONE to come and get him... Alot of yall keep referring to Tyrone in this song as if that is who she is talking to in the song... Uh No.... ..

Baduizm is an R&B Classic!! I regret not buying her Album when it first came out on CD in 1997. I graduated high school that year. In some ways Jazmine Sullivan is the Erykah Badu for 2022 R&B.

Class of ‘97 also checking in. Thank you for posting this. I could’ve sworn this song predates 14 years. I was at Essence Music Festival when she debuted it. If I’m not mistaken that would’ve been the Summer of ‘96.

A TRUE Artist! I remember back in the day (I've officially started saying that 😂) I was in 8th grade, my best friends sister who was a couple years older than us, was OBSESSED with Ms. Badu, and I still have the fondest memories of all 3 of us singing as loud as we could with this live version, bouncing around their house like d*** fools . Like we knew what it meant at that age 😅.
@meramera89114 жыл бұрын
The incredible thing about this song is that Erkyah said in an interview that she improvised (made up) the whole song on the spot, in front of this huge audience and she did it, in one shot. That fact that the band kept on beat with a steady melody and the background singers harmonized to a song they'd never heard is pure talent. What's also commendably extraordinary, is that the background singers instinctively knew to add their parts of " Call Him", "Come On Come On come on" while doing it on key and in unison. That is amazing.
@davidbobowski36043 жыл бұрын
Wow! That's really really impressive! Thanks for sharing that, it made this song even better.
@koreysylver92763 жыл бұрын
I don’t think that was freestyled
@julianmuller95673 жыл бұрын
Bullshit. They had played around with the song during rehearsals, this is by far not the first time they heard it. The "Call him" of the background singers was already rehearsed, they just weren't prepared to actually play it as a song. You know, it's a fucking great song the way it is, you don't need to invent extra shit to make it seem like it's magic.
@oc78053 жыл бұрын
As much as I want to believe this the odds of making up a song this awesome on the spot and the background singers ALL KNOWING TO SING "call him" isn't possible
@mikeharrison18683 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it takes a lot of work to make music work. Especially with the harmonies. I attended a free jazz concert once. A trio. Any two of them playing together worked, but it just didn't work when all three were playing together. Only concert I remember walking out on.
