I purchase a package from Walmart that had 3 Eryngium Roots in February of 2023 and planted them out into the garden in April. They survived our Exceptional Drought of 2023 and 14 degrees in January of 2024. Pictures and Video

I grew some Steel Blue Sea Holly from seed last year. They are blooming this year. I love their uniqueness!

Awww Thanks so much...I'm soooo uncomfortable talking LOL and most of the time i'm looking all dirty so just know that's why I'm not showing my head LOL...and you know what...I saw baby Eryngium coming up in my bed so Eryngium will self seed! AND I've planted out a bunch that I planted from seeds.

Hi!! This plant is about hip high again this year already!!! I think they just look like a small plant the first year...leaves are a wide oval But it will reseed...I have a few baby's at the front of the Bed that I know I didn't plant...they are so little..

@@cindythompsonthecottagegarden will potting soil work for germinating?
@cindythompsonthecottagegarden5 ай бұрын
@@hadleymanmusic It probably would. I have used it before..I used seed starting mix for my seeds this spring and I planted a lot...Sift the big pieces out and I put a dome on mine and on a heat matt...don't put in direct sunlight with a dome it will get too hot...you probably could actually direct sew now...I did plant enyngium in my 32 flowerbed experiment video...There's a video!
