thanks for the video. Quick note that the rear sticky cover doesn't have to be fully removed, all you have to do is slightly push it to the side to expose the screws to get them unscrewed. That way you don't have to remove it all the way, as you mentioned doing it too many times will completely remove the stickiness.

Why did it need replacing? Do the LED lights fail over time? Mine are broken but I don't know if it could be a wiring issue perhaps?

Hi there . Please make a video on replacing the led lights / glow lights ? My Glow lights is not working anymore . Checked the wire from the front wheel / motor , is not damaged. Opened the stem where there's wires , I unplugged it and plugged it again but still it's not lit. Checked the bottom where there's a rubber . It's not lit . It's not working

My bottom LED lights won't stay on, it will shut off by itself and then turn back on. I am suspecting it's connection problem. Could you let me know where are connectors for LED light strips?

If you look at the bottom of the deck, you'll notice a little rubber square. Remove that square and the wires will be zip tied to a little hole. If they are still connected, look toward the front motor, you'll notice a wire right where the scooter folds. Make sure that the wire isn't damaged. If the wire is damaged anywhere else, it would require disassembling the unit, which can only be done by a technician, since it would require breaking the warranty seals.

Thank you for making this video as I said in my email before you made this. my brake light shorts out and if i tap it turns right back on so it could be that connection piece? If so do I call parts and get a new one? For free I would hope?

Hi Seth, yes if your unit is still under warranty, and you are handy and wants to do the repair yourself then the parts department should be able to send you the part.

Ninebot U.S. I already fixed that from this video is was a short in the wire harness. I have many other issues and I have sent many emails. I have a error 10 and 14 which i did reset it and it disappeared but i want to know what it meant. I cant turn on my head light without the brakes turning them selves on not allowing you to accelerate and this is a known issue that the control board is bad. I need someone to find my emails and start answering me please. [e-mail]

Can you tell me how to replace the bottom LED? The bottom LED on my ES2 is not lit. The rear LEDs come in. But when I stepped on es2, or when I stood up and pressed the front of the footboard, I noticed that the bottom LED came in and the rear LED became stronger. Do you know What is the problem?

Hey Robert! We don't believe so. You could get an ES1 and the optional 2nd Battery though.
