Nice horn. I play on a similar one, an older 42, probably 20-30 years old, with a detachable Thayer valve. The original owner (the 2nd trombone in the Winnipeg Symphony) had that valve put on afterwards, and is an authentic Thayer before Bach bought his patent and started butchering them. It's got a ton of sentimental value and I adore it. You can see me playing it in a few of my videos.

Well I can't dispute anything that has to do with hertz, but I can attest to the validity of the Rockband microphone picking up the trombone. Don't know how or why it works, but it does. Well you see, the Rockband microphone is specifically built to only receive amplitude voice ranges from 10.3hz to 73.43hz. All trombones output is charted at around 324.4hz, meaning that the microphone receiver could in no way shape or form be able to process the ranges from the trombone. So there for I am a "troll". Nice FC kid.
