@@Anne-mn9fs Zeldris feared meliodas when meliodas was the leader of 10 commandments, this might be enough but also meliodas is demon king’s successor while zeldris was just one of ten commandments/demon prince. + Meliodas before turn into assault mode he was 60K in base form (without using any demonic power) and he wasn’t even have his true demonic power lol, while zeldris using a bit of his demonic form i think it was 60K. Overall i’d say that meliodas won’t no diffs zeldris or low diffs him but he’ll win against zeldris mid or mid/high difficulty if both was in their Full power.

There’s actually a oneshot manga about the Seven Deadly Sins vs the Vampires mission called the Vampires of Edinburgh. The anime never adapted it unfortunately (even though around this episode and Zeldris’ backstory would have been a good time to tie it in and it provides a lot of extra context. Or an OVA if they really couldn’t fit it in anywhere), which I’m still kinda mad about lol. Definitely recommend checking it out (along with other unadapted extra stories) sometime! Also you’ll notice if you go back (or just remember) that the Vampire mission’s actually mentioned a couple times earlier in the series. As far back as Gowther’s introduction in season 1 at least!

The whole Escanor is hurt despite being healed Remember Escanor(day time) encounter with Ludociel (Margaret vessel) Ludociel was questioning on why he possess Sunshine, the Grace bestowed from the Supreme Diety to his brother, Mael of the Goddess Clan And he mentioned this key part that i realised alot of ppl seem to gloss over Sunshine is so stupidly strong destructive power that its basically self destructive in nature. So while it gives the user massive power growth, it also eats at their lifespan, be it consuming lifespan or killing his lifespan. Thus he questioned on the health of Escanor and that Escanor knows that better than anyone else Now if you remember all the flashbacks etc Escanor always runs away during his power phase, and he basically slams and destroys stuff. Be it the nature consuming or killing his lifespan, this hints that Escanor knows that and he is desperate to burn off all that power boost. And he even hid in a dark place like that mountain, likely to hide from the Sun to not activate his magic. All to "extend" his lifespan. Even his Sacred Treasure, the description of its debut was that it eats the energy of his leaked power. So we can consider that Rhitta is also his way of burning off his power or keeping it in control as much as possible so ppl around him dont literally melt to the heat he emits

Nah Neel, Zeldris is definitely out for the count for good. You must remember, Assault Mode Meliodas is powerful enough to take on BOTH Estarossa and Zeldris at the end of the previous season, even toying with them. This very same Assault Mode Meliodas got taken out for the count by a mere swipe from the DIVINE CHOP. It didn't even touch him directly yet and the swipe was powerful enough to open a grievous wound. Now Zeldris not only got hit with the DIVINE CHOP, he even got hit with the DIVINE POKE directly. Zeldris thinking of Gelda at the end can even be seen as his regret and final thoughts or life flashing before his eyes before he die. Zeldris is definitely not going to be relevant for the remainder of the season.

the only thing ur mistaken about is tho the melidoas that fought zeldris and estarossa was far stronger than the one that lost to escanor and was fooling around and even them merlin said escanor suffered more damage than meliodas did in that fight and meliodas wasnt even in control fully because he didnt retain his memory, meliodas in assult mode was stronger tahn orginal mael with the sunshine grace

Neel, Zeldris is not lying about Meliodas playing with his food, you can see in his fight with Escanor that he was playing and all. All he had to do was kill Escanor before noon and that was it. Meliodas is arrogant while in assault mode. You will understand soon what he meant about playing around in a fight
